Who's That Girl? Emma Stone Debuts Dark Brown Hair and New Blunt Bangs

Emma Stone has been keeping a low profile lately, but she just stepped out with a bang — literally! The actress revealed fresh fringe and a rich chocolate-hued hair color over the weekend, and we can’t stop talking about her transformation.

Stone, 27, joined friends for an outing in Malibu, marking the first time we’ve seen her out in while. And our attention immediately went to her brunette shade and brow-skimming bangs.

The actress paired the chic cut and color combo with a simple black tee, cropped M.i.h. flares and a lightweight, checkered blazer (clearly to keep the new do the focal point of her look).

While fringe isn’t necessarily a new style for the star (she previously wore her grown-out bangs swept to the side), the dramatic, deep chocolate shade is perhaps one of the darkest hues she’s ever sported. And you know she’s never met a hair color she didn’t like (fiery red strands to her cool blonde hue).

So whether the moody makeover is for an upcoming role, a byproduct of a weekend salon session or a last-minute hair change before the Met Gala (here’s hoping she attends this year!), we can’t wait to see how she styles the look.
