High Fashion Faceoff: Kylie Jenner's Balmain Skirt Is Ripped from the Runway
The 18-year-old showed off her own take on Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2016 netted, cerulean blue midi skirt while out to dinner with boyfriend Tyga at Il Ciello Italian Restaurant in Beverly Hills, Monday.
The embellished – and see-through – skirt made its debut last fall during Paris fashion week on Dutch model Doutzen Kroes. Kroes, who wore a burnt orange bodysuit on the runway, was decked out in some major accessories that included chandelier earrings and a wide belt in the same blue shade.

Jenner let the standout piece speak for itself, pairing it with a nude turtleneck bodysuit and matching, strappy heels. The makeup maven – who kept her beauty look understated as well – brought in a little extra color via her complementary Hermès purse.

As always, the fashionista kept fans up-to-date on her #ootd on social media, Instagramming and Snapchatting close-up looks at the skirt’s netting and her perennially plump pout.
The KarJenner family’s relationship with Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing is well-documented, as many of the famous women have served as muses for the designer. In fact, Kylie has even appeared in a campaign for the line – alongside big sis Kendall, of course.
