Lea Michele Reveals Her Favorite Feature: 'I'm Grateful for My Butt!'

Lea Michele stepped out on Tuesday flaunting her abs — but the newly single star, 29, tells PeopleStyle it’s another asset that she favors most.

“For being only 5’3”, I have to say I really like my legs. And my butt’s not bad,” admits the Scream Queens star, adding, “I’m grateful for that, too!”

But we hardly consider that bragging considering Michele never, ever shies away from a work out — often posting her various sessions on Instagram. “I rotate between hiking and hot yoga and then the occasional spin class. I bought a bike so I can do spin classes in my house! I’m down for trying anything!”

And you’ll always catch her smiling mid-yoga pose, plank or push-up because, “I only do workouts that I enjoy. I [won’t] drag myself to do something that I don’t enjoy because just it’s going to make me lose weight or burn calories.”

Her other requirement? “I need to leave feeling Zen.” So, the actress always makes sure the lights aren’t too bright and the music isn’t blaring before she starts to break a sweat.

Michele lives by the same healthy motto when it comes to food (at home, she maintains a vegan diet) and the beauty products she uses. A longtime fan of Burt’s Bees, she’s teamed up with the brand to raise awareness about its latest initiative, to save the bees (The Bring Back The Bees campaign kicks off on urtsees.com — no Bs, get it? — March 8.)

The actress, who enjoys helping others lead a healthy lifestyle, says she was inspired to do the same by two famous friends: Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Calling them “role models,” Michele explains, “I worked with Gwyneth and Kate on Glee and learned from both of them that being healthy is something you should do because it brings you joy.” So she swears by these words: “Everything you do, you should do is because it makes you feel good and genuinely makes you happy.”

What makes me happy is biting into Chicago pizza or hot buttered cinnamon rolls. Because I would get fat if I do this, I don’t. Watching TV and surfing the net make me happy too, but I go running instead. I’m sick of hearing this “happy” BS….living like Gwenyth Paltrow is NOT fun…..

@button ok that may not be happy for you but other may enjoy it. Don’t decide what others like or don’t. She has often said she works out so she can have her cheese and have a glass of wine. It is called moderation. It makes you happy becasue you can still go out and do the things you want and feel good. If you are fat you have more pain, my health problems etc.
