WATCH AND SHOP: This Long Cardigan Will Revive Your Winter Wardrobe

02/15/2016 at 06:00 AM ET

By now you probably made it through a few rotations of your winter wardrobe and may be ready to retire the tights and shake up your well-worn sweater collection. Which makes it the perfect time to introduce this new chic long cardigan. Everyone in Hollywood is obsessed with this sweater style, and after you see how versatile it is, we guarantee you will be too.

The hottest street style stars (Jessica Alba, Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and many, many more) have all been spotted in long, open-front designs. They wear it most when they’re on-the-go, running errands and traveling through airports, and it’s not hard to see why.

It was purposefully designed to be a comfortable wear-everywhere piece because it’s made from hatchi, a wrinkle-resistant material that stays stylish through anything — even when you fold it into a ball in your carry-on bag.

In addition to travel, we recommend wearing this sweater to the office (it’s great piece to protect you from ultra-high AC temps in the summer), when you need an easy weekend brunch topper or when you just want to look chic with no time spent picking out an outfit.

Those cardigans have been around for at least a decade and they are only $10 to $20 dollars almost everywhere including Sears and smaller shops, not a bargain if you pay over $20 and that’s Canadian money!!

Well, I have to disagree with you Sarah, I have a couple of these cardigans, love them, but I paid more than 20 dollars American money. If you want a good quality knit that will last, not pill, and hold it’s shape you’ll need to get a better quality one than you can get for 20 bucks. Plus, I try to buy natural knits because they feel better and I think look better.
