swimsuitsforall's New #SwimSexy Campaign Stars a 56-Year-Old Plus-Size Model

02/10/2016 at 10:30 AM ET

With the rapid approach of the release of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and the cover’s big TV reveal this weekend, it can be easy to forget that not all bikini bodies have to look like the perfectly toned, tanned, and oiled-up ones we see inside those pages. But luckily, swimsuitsforall‘s latest #SwimSexy campaign is here, starring three very different plus-size models, each of whom make it abundantly clear that sexy knows no age, race, or size.

The latest ads from the plus-size swimwear brand, which will also be featured alongside those more conventional model bodies in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition, features 2016 SI Rookie Ashley Graham (who’s still having the best month ever), British Ghanian model and humanitarian Philomena Kwao, and the woman everyone’s buzzing about, Nicola Griffin, whose 56 years make her the oldest woman to ever be included within the pages of the magazine.

Swimsuitsforall are the same people who helped put body positivity in the spotlight, bringing us all those amazing images and collections from style blogger GabiFresh, so it’s no surprise the swimwear brand is finding new ways to promote self-acceptance, continuing to place a strong emphasis on not just seeing a array of body types in the media, but also a diversity within said bodies.

Swimsuitsforall’s campaigns consistently challenge viewers to broaden their conception of beauty outside of the narrow definition society has provided us with, and we can’t wait to see what taboos they breakdown next.

What do you think of these new ads from SwimsuitsForAll? Which one is your favorite?

All three women look good. Although, they are not skinny nor are they fat, it is obvious that they do work out and probably watch what they eat.

They look great. And I don’t understand why they are “plus” size as there are more women who look like them than are a size 0.

If that’s plus sized I am a monkeys uncle!!!!

Congrats Ladies. You are all perfect.

Now this is what real women look like and before everyone jumps on my case when i say “real” i mean the following: botox free, non-photoshopped, not having plastic surgery every other day, not caked in makeup, and not starving to be a size you can never achieve because you want to be like those in Hollyweird. Now if the media can just stop labeling women “plus size” when you can clearly see they are not that would be ideal. These really are gorgeous photos and ones I do not mind having my 14 year old daughter look at.

Plus my tush on

These are beautiful, healthy looking women….nothing plus sized about them! I wish the industry would stop calling women that size plus size…plus size is fat!
