The 5 Boldest Beauty Looks from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week
Between celebrity sightings, pets sitting front row, and of course, Kendall Jenner twerking, Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week always gives us a lot to take in. And this year’s Spring/Summer 2016 shows also provided us with some OMG-inducing beauty moments. Below, the one’s we’re freaking over.
First up, the Atelier Versace models who walked the runway rocking the best. smoky. eyes. ever. Makeup artist Pat McGrath used her Black Caviar gel eyeliner from her Phantom 002 collection to create the look, which she described to WWD as “very simple” and “a much easier, fresh approach to glamour.” Basically, Gigi Hadid wearing the rich black shade in the most perfect cat-eye shape will forever be our eyeshadow inspiration.

To complement Chanel’s dollhouse theme, models (including Kendall) wore Princess Leia-adjacent chignons, paired with dramatic black eyeliner drawn across the upper and lower lids in a wave-like shape. We’re thinking a toned-down version could totally fly on a Saturday night.
Next, the ethereal undone hair at Elie Saab, which was not only parted perfectly down the middle but also curled into effortless waves. Now if only we could figure out how to maneuver a curling iron as well as the pros.

Things turned to the wild side at Schiaparelli, where models wore geometric-shaped crimped hair and basically no makeup, aside from their bold painted brows.
And last but not least, this mic-drop Maison Margiela moment: All catwalkers had different wild beauty looks, but the bright red mullet, star eye decals, and black lips (seen on the model above) topped the charts with major punk rock vibes.
