Even Tina Fey Couldn't Nab Sarah Palin's Sold Out Sweater for SNL, So She Had an Identical One Made (VIDEO)
Live from New York, it’s Sarah Palin’s spangly, sparkly sweater. Actually, it’s just a really good replica.
Remember the embellished Milly topper the former governor of Alaska donned to endorse Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump? (Of course you do.) Well, the funny people over at Saturday Night Live couldn’t get their hands on the sold out style, which is why they re-created the embellished topper for Tina Fey to wear during the opening monologue of Saturday’s episode. (Bonus points if you can spot any differences, because we can’t.)

While the former governor’s statement sweater was a product of contemporary designer Michelle Smith of Milly, Fey turned to the creative minds of the weekend sketch comedy show for an almost identical (and equally as sparkly!) design. (See the design team work their magic on the piece in the video, below!)
No matter what you think of the conversation-starting topper, we happen to think Fey and Palin sported the statement number with pride, and as always, style. So tell us: Who wore it better: Sarah Palin or Tina Fey?
