WATCH AND SHOP: Want Hair as Shiny as Princess Kate's? Try This Conditioning Cleanser!

01/18/2016 at 06:00 AM ET

If you’ve been trying to recreate Princess Kate’s infamously perfect blowouts for years now, you may want to sit down for this. It turns out, the secret behind her glossy locks is all thanks to a special two-in-one cleansing formula, that’s only been available in the U.K. (until now!) and only costs — wait for it — $12!

You can only get this formula in the U.S. through our exclusive deal and to celebrate the state-side release, we caught up with Kate’s stylist, Richard Ward to find out what makes this product so different than other shampoo and conditioner duos.

It all has to do with its sulfate-free, paraben-free formula, which doesn’t strip the hair of its natural oils and helps prolong color-treated hair (since there’s no detergent included).

Another thing that makes it so special is what is included — it’s chock full of botanical ingredients (green tea, aloe vera and vitamin A), a.k.a. items that help hair retain its natural “goodness.”

And because it’s free of sulfates it doesn’t suds up like a traditional shampoo, instead it’s meant to be messaged gently onto the hair and work as both a cleanser and conditioner. There you have it! Just this one product is all you need for a mane as enviable as Princess Kate’s!

This reminds me of WEN, but I am sure is much better. I never had a problem with Joyus products. I’ve ordered at least 4 times from there and the products work great. I think I am gonna give this a try. BTW, is People partnered with Joyus? That is the main reason for posting. Anyone know?

Is it coming back in stock any time soon? I’ve got about 20 products just like this, but I love trying new ones! I’d like to know why the alcohol in it?? That’s a drying agent!

In other articles, it says she uses Kerastase products. Sounds like a sales tactic!

I have very thin hair and a lot of products weigh it down and separate the strands which makes it look worse. Would this product work for me?
