Jessica Chastain Gets to Actually Keep Her Red Carpet Dresses -- Making Her the Luckiest Girl Ever

We’re jealous of her hair, lips, modeling gigs and now her closet. Jessica Chastain reveals that all of those beautiful, one-of-a-kind gowns she wears on the red carpet are actually still in her possession.

“I’ve been very lucky that if a designer has made a dress especially for me that they let me keep it,” Chastain said in a recent interview while promoting her new film, a Most Violent Year. “So I’ve gotten to keep both my Oscar dresses.” (To jog your memory, those gowns were custom creations from Armani Privé and Alexander McQueen.)

“I’m a lucky girl, but my storage unit is getting very big,” added Chastain. She may have to make more room — with her new partnership with Piaget diamonds we wonder if her freebies will expand into jewelry as well. At the Golden Globes, the actress walked the red carpet wearing nearly 500 diamonds, 34 carats worth of jewelry.

Other red carpet tidbits the star spilled? The first thing that goes through her head when she steps on the carpet: “Don’t fall down.” But her Most Violent Year costar doesn’t have quite the same fear (flat shoes could have something to do with that). “Don’t say anything stupid… or racist,” said Oscar Isaac. Wise advice all around! See more of their interview below.

Bill, that’s a really terrible thing to say. And this isn’t the first time that you’ve said it, too. Why do you feel the need to follow this actress on the internet to say the same mean things about her over and over again?
Sorry, but that’s just sad on your part.

I think she’s a lovely actress and she is very nice to her fans, too. She is certainly not ugly or vomit-inducing!
