Princess Kate Recycles One of Her Favorite Dresses, Continues on Non-Maternity Clothing Streak

If there was an award for ‘Most Discreet Baby Bump’ of all time, we think it would go to Princess Kate.

For her second official engagement of the week with ‘The Fostering Network’ in North London, Kate recycled one of her favorite dresses — the “Animal” shirt dress from high-street store Hobbs. She’s worn it several times before and despite being six (yes, six!) months pregnant, once again it’s non-maternity wear for this fashionable royal.

The £169 dress, which features a subtle embossed animal print and is 100% silk was on sale for £50, but of course it’s now completely sold out. Accessorized with her go-to Stuart Weitzman “Power” pumps in black suede, a Mulberry London Bayswater suede clutch bag and thick opaque tights, it was both an understated and chic choice.

Hobbs has become a go-to brand for the royal during her pregnancies. She wore a sheer polka-dot peplum top from their Invitation range to a children’s charity event in November (when we first got a peek of that tiny baby bump) and in the later stages of her pregnancy with Prince George, she chose a bold Dalmatian print coat from Hobbs to attend the Royal Princess boat naming ceremony — her last engagement before becoming a mom.

Luckily for Kate fashion fans, the UK brand launched in the U.S. last year and is now sold at select Bloomingdales locations. What do you think of her latest look? Are you hoping they restock that shirt dress? Share your thoughts below.

Seriously, I was nervous for her first pregnancy and I’m nervous this time around too (perhaps not so much). She is so skinny that I’m always worried she’s not eating enough or the baby isn’t getting enough nutrients but seeing as how she has the best care in the world at her finger tips and Georgie came out precious as a lamb, I’m sure this one will go without a hitch as well. I just love this couple so much and can’t wait to see this baby :)

She is stunningly beautiful – look at her, so stylish and lovely. I don’t think there is any other royal in the WORLD that is as attractive as she is. She has style and class that cannot be matched – you go girl!

I hope that all women with child adopt her style. Tired of seeing the sloppy way some pregnant women dress. Yoga pants are for yoga class and crop tops are for thin gals in their 20’s. Don’t need to see your stretch marks for belly button popping. Have some class, her class.

Remember when no one knew who this all of a sudden perfect woman was? How didn the society survive?

Celebrity worshipping is a disease and you lifeless people have a lethal dose of it.

Well, we certainly won’t be worshiping you, Bill, by the way, are you worship worthy?

Patti
I find your comment ignorant and tasteless,
I am 9months pregnant and I wear yoga pants and pajama’s everywhere unless I am going out somewhere special with my husband or to an event, that is all I fit in anymore at 9months pregnant, jeans are NOT comfortable at this stage in pregnancy my son does NOT like the band that goes on my belly from jeans, I wear dress slacks to work like a normal working person, but 90% of the rest of the time im in yoga pants or pajama’s .. your jealousy issue or whatever stick you have stuck up your butt is rather classless and rude. I would love to see you make this comment to someone pregnant face.. Get a life and quit Trolling on the internet.

She’s 5’10”, she’s not going to show as much as a short woman. I’m sure she’s fine.

Patti, I’m 5″2 and needed maternity clothing at four months. Sadly I never was able to wear non maternity until after the birth of my babies. I don’t think I dressed sloppy but I did dress comfortably for me and the baby in my womb. Get over you’re ignorance and practice what you preach. You are the last example of class knocking down pregnant ladies.

So tell us all this Bill…….what are you doing on the People website? Pretty sure you were aware it deals with “celebrity” types. You know..those folks you pretend not to worship.
