See Sarah Michelle Gellar's Short and Sassy New 'Do

10/19/2014 at 11:45 AM ET

Buffy got a bob, and it’s a killer new look.

Sarah Michelle Gellar debuted her daring haircut Saturday, Tweeting photos of her shorter, wavier ‘do.

“Time for a change,” she wrote. “Thanks @mararozak for cutting it and @rachel_goodwin and @TaraSwennen for talking me into it.”

That’s Mara Rozak, the hairstylist to the stars who has touched up the tresses of celebrities like Diane Kruger, Kate Mara and Emma Stone.

Gellar’s cut is a far cry from the long, straight, golden locks she usually rocks, but we’re loving how fun and fresh her hair is now.

Tell us: Do you like SMG’s chop?

Hot mess. When did it become popular to look like you took a pair of scissors and just started randomly whacking off pieces of your hair?

She should go even shorter.

Julia on

She’s too skinny.

How on earth is that flattering?
It looks like the awkward in-between stage of growing out a short do.

Unrelenting narcissism!

I really think SMG is a really beautiful women and cannot imagine why she would chose to have flat, dirty-looking hair that appears as if a drunk friend cut for her. Seriously, who would emulate this look?

Eww… Looks dirty :-(
