Jennifer Aniston on Facial Plastic Surgery: 'Justin Would Put a Gun to My Head'

Aging gracefully is important to Jennifer Aniston, but it’s really important to her fiancé Justin Theroux. The actress reveals that her longterm boyfriend would be extremely upset if she ever got any type of facial injections or went under the knife.

“I think, what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves,” she tells Yahoo Beauty Editor in Chief Bobbi Brown in a new interview. “I am grateful to learn from their mistakes, because I am not injecting s— into my face. I see them and my heart breaks. I think, ‘Oh God, if you only know how much older you look.’ They are trying to stop the clock and all you can see is an insecure person who won’t let themselves just age. I also have a fiancé who will put a gun to my head if I touch my face in any way.”

Aniston, 45, plans to follow the model of the many actresses who choose to welcome the natural progression of aging.

“I also understand that age is kind of awesome,” she shares. “I am fortunate enough to know women like Gloria Steinem, who I think is one of the most stunning women on the planet, and doesn’t touch her face. Diane Keaton, Annette Bening, all of these fabulous fearless women who are flawless, they embrace it! You know to each their own, I don’t judge it if you do it, but sometimes I wish I could beg the people I know, who I am very near and dear to, to not touch their face.”

The 45-year-old star also isn’t holding anything back about her diet, which definitely consists of — wait for it — bread. And she maintains that while she’s not afraid of aging, getting older does make losing weight more difficult.

“I usually give myself bread on the weekends, but really, my body doesn’t love carbs. These days, if I was being super picky, I would love to drop five pounds. That is just where I have always been really comfortable at about 110 to 113 pounds. But it is harder to get that down, at this age.”

Regardless of her weight, she always looks great in her go-to jeans-and-a-tee uniform, which she calls the result of “laziness. ”

However, she does have one key dressing secret. “The trick to T-shirts is I that I usually tailor them, which is silly, but it works,” she reveals. “Or you just have to find the perfect one. James Perse has really great t-shirts and tank tops, Theory is great for basics, and for jeans. I take the pockets off of Hudson jeans, because I like the fit, but not the pockets. Helmut Lang does a good skinny jean, too. And I wear Saint Laurent jackets.”

Is anyone else about to take their T-shirts to the tailor? What do you think of Aniston’s aging philosophy? Do you agree? Share your thoughts below.

Good! Justin is right. Jennifer doesn’t need plastic surgery.

Linda on

Shouldn’t she be dead by now since she had 2 plastic surgeries on her nose.

What a bizarre thing to say.

Marge on

Too bad no one said the same thing to Courtney Cox.

So Aniston thinks her BFF Courtney is insecure.

I agree with Jennifer’s aging philosophy. Kudos to her!

I wonder if she begged Courtenay not to do the botox thing because Courtenay has definitely done something to her face and is not as pretty as she used to be.

Sunny on

I don’t believe that she hasn’t had anything done.. her lips are a bit plumper also not too long ago the daily mail had an article about what they called Jennifer Aniston’s “Pillow Face” because her face was so puffy like after some injections.

Yeah….she’s totally talking about Courteney Cox. It really is sad what CC has done to her gorgeous face.
