The Fourth of July is tomorrow, and, if you’re like us, you’re probably scrambling last-minute to decide what to pack for your Independence Day festivities. It can be a challenge to incorporate the U.S.A.’s signature colors into your wardrobe without looking like the grand ol’ flag — just check out this week’s Fashion Faceoff if you don’t believe us. To keep your thematic dressing on the chic side of festive, we dug up five celeb outfits for a little ensemble inspiration. Let the fashion fireworks begin.

From left: Jessica Alba rarely gets casually pretty dressing wrong. If you’re headed to a party but don’t want to seem too dressed up, throw a denim jacket over a white dress — then swap in a pop of red via your shoes or bag. Rather go grungy than girlie with your LWD? Take a page out of Ashley Tisdale’s book and add a flannel around your waist that incorporates some red and blue (and if it gets cooler at night, you’ll be able to throw the shirt on to keep yourself warm).

Cameron Diaz embraced the color scheme more subtly with a white tee, blue accents and a bold red lip — easy without being cheesy. Also playing it cool, Taylor Swift deviated from the typical primary color scheme by pairing her maroon A.L.C shorts with a navy blazer and crisp button-up for a polished and fun look.

Kate Bosworth’s ensemble is perfect for a beach day: flattering and affordable (her H&M top is only $35 and the Topshop skirt is $76). Instead of choosing a plain white tank to go with her blue-and-red printed mini, she added a lace-inset piece that instantly elevates her look.

Did these ladies give you some outfit inspiration for tomorrow’s festivities? Who do you think incorporated the colors best? How are you going to wear your red, white and blue? Let us know!

These are all fun and very different ways to show off your red, white and blue for the fourth! The prints on some of the clothing pieces are perfect for this holiday. And the solid color pieces put together to create a red, white & blue look are beautiful. The versatile classic white shirt worn by Taylor Swift is a perfect starting piece when building an outfit for this holiday!
