Did Brad Pitt's Kids Design His Latest T-Shirt?

06/09/2014 at 01:14 PM ET

Brad Pitt has always been at the forefront of cutting-edge celebrity trends, from his ponytail days to that half-shaved rockabilly do he was working. And his latest fashion statement is one that we’re sure would catch on — if only the design wasn’t one-of-a-kind. The actor (and dad to six) recently was snapped on his way to the airport wearing a T-shirt with a distinctive design that we have good reason to believe was created just for him by one of his kids.

There’s already precedence for the idea of kid-designed apparel and accessories in the Jolie-Pitt clan. Pitt’s fiancée Angelina Jolie gushed about a ring designed for her by son Knox as a Mother’s Day gift, which she wore while promoting Maleficent. “Brad’s really creative with the kids, so they made a bunch of things like pillows and notebooks,” Jolie told PEOPLE of her kids’ Mother’s Day surprises. “Knoxy made me a picture of Maleficent that they made into a ring … They force me to wear silly things. I loved Goofy when I was little. So Pax drew me a Goofy shirt. I wore that with a crown Vivienne found for me.”

So knowing that Pitt encourages his children’s artistic sides, we’re not surprised to see the star in a look that might have come directly from one of their art projects. His graphic tee appears to portray Pitt and Jolie holding hands and smiling while wearing their signature outfits (a simple dress for her and a newsboy cap, button-up and khakis for him). We especially appreciate that Pitt wore the tee while wearing a variation of said uniform, though to avoid being too on-the-nose, he swapped in a straw fedora instead.

Think this style statement is super cute? Would you buy a piece from the Jolie-Pitt kids’ collection? Tell us in the comment!

That is cute. His kids probably love that daddy is wearing their drawing :)

That’s so cute! I love this family a true reflection of what we as a society should strive for: loving each other blindly & unconditionally, without restrictions or expectation of who I think you should be, how I think you should act, or who I think you should love. I could never see these two disowning their children because of their sexual preference, or the color of the person they bring home…good for them!

Such great parents and so hands-on! It doesn’t matter what color you are to be in this family. I love them!

He really loves his kids and he is not afraid to wear it.

Everything is so staged with these two. Photo op king and queen. Everytime a movie comes out they start appearing with these stupid antics.
Whatever happed to her lie that she said when she adopted Pax and she said she was retiring and never doing a movie again?

Both of these two are liars and cheats. Karma will come knocking on their door. I can’t wait to read those headlines.

Why not? I’d wear something like that if my kids made it.
