Sophia Bush Goes Blonde (and It's a Little Funky For Her!)

If the warmer weather and increased bikini photos on Instagram weren’t proof enough that summer is around the corner, the fact that celebrity hair changes appear to be in full swing might do it. Sophia Bush is the latest celebrity (after Nina Dobrev and Shailene Woodley) to lighten up for warmer weather (and we think this trend is just getting started).

Bush debuted her brand new hue on Extra Monday afternoon, along with some extra length courtesy of a few blonde extensions. And while she’s been blonde before, her new look is a little edgier than it was before, with her dark brunette underlayer showing through and a brassier tone to go with the funky ombré feel, where her hue fades from golden to ombré. She showed it off with a deep side parted style combed to one side, though the chunky highlights will be shown off to great effect in summer’s topknots and braids as well.

What do you think of Bush’s new do? Do you love her blonde? Will you try something similarly funky? Tell us in the comments!

She’s so cute, but this hair is not. I can’t tell if it’s the color or the style.

It looks brassy and fried. She had such pretty, shiny hair before.

Don’t like it!
