Does Poppy Delevingne's Wedding Dress Look Familiar?

If you’re a firm believer in the “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue” wedding superstition, then this one’s a doozy: British model and personality Poppy Delevingne (sister to supermodel Cara) just tied the knot in London wearing a Chanel dress that fits two of those criteria. The bride looked radiant in a Chanel Couture gown that “borrows” inspiration from look 64 in the spring 2009 collection — an “old” gown that was previously worn by Blake Lively.

The two dresses have tons in common, from the structured bodice with its short sleeves and shorter hemline, to the flowing sheer skirt at the bottom, to the allover floral appliqués. But while Lively’s was more of a bohemian take on the dress (with her braided pony, stacks of bracelets and bronzed glow), Delevingne’s is all bride — she’s got the perfectly coiffed waves, minimal jewels and, oh yeah, the lined skirt, to prove it.

Sister Cara served as maid of honor, recalling another famous British sister act by wearing a flowing cream-colored gown, plus black and white sandals and a topknot. (See a photo below.)

Seriously, PEOPLE, why was this necessary? The dresses don’t look identical, and even if they were, it’s not like she’s actually wearing the dress that Lively wore. Tacky on your part.

Blake looks really vibrant and healthy <3

Looks better on Blake. And yes, I realize it’s not the same exact dress.

Why make an issue out of a non-issue? It’s a gorgeous dress.. should it never have been seen again?

She still looks good in her OWN version. There is nothing to see here at least she gets her inspiration from someone whose character is more respectable than someone we all knew.

This seems very petty. It’s Poppy’s day – not Blake’s. Blake is a lovely girl and looks gorgeous in her dress, but was this really necessary? Tacky and rude.

Blake for the win

Lol could cara at least pretend she’s having a good time?
