Pippa Middleton Keeps Cutting Her Hair Shorter: Is She Headed for Pixie Land?

05/09/2014 at 01:44 PM ET

While the world is still talking about Pippa Middleton’s famous backside, we’re busy studying her hair. Duchess Catherine‘s baby sister seems to be visiting the salon quite frequently for regular trims. Below, the photographic evidence for you to examine.

Back in March, she chopped about three inches from her chest-length strands for a swingy cut that hit along her collarbone. And just recently it appears she shaved another inch or two off the ends, almost entering into bob territory. Will she be going any shorter for the summer? That remains unknown, but our Pippa hair senses are heightened.

As for her other famous assets, Middleton recently joked about all the buzz still surrounding her derrière. “As I have found out, recognition has its upside, its downside and — you may say — its backside,” she said at a London event.

And Prince George‘s aunt might be getting ready to make bridal waves of her own. (Can you image Baby G as the ring bearer!) Reportedly, she’s close to getting engaged to her boyfriend Nico Jackson. Tell us: What do you think of her her hair? Should she go shorter? Share your thoughts below.

Lynda on

Hope she does not get a pixie. It looks nice long on her.

Em13 on

She looks even older with the short hair. She gotta start to stop tanning and take better care of her skin.

Amaryllis on

The longer hair looks better. She should grow it back.

Guest on

She’s ass-less and fugly. Don’t know why she’s getting so much attention.

Christine on

Seriously ‘bob territory’? Not even close…

Mellie on

I like it in the first picture longer. She’s attractive whatever style.

guest on

not flattering at all. yuck.

EJ on

YUK. Don’t like it on her. She looks better with longer hair.

didi on

She’s starting to look old and leathery in the face. Time to up that SPF and moisturize.

YoMomma on

She is looking old.

Karla on

Kate def got all the looks in this family, Pippa isn’t pretty at all, eeek

guest on

@Karla, you are so rude. I’m sure you’re a dog yourself.

Crombie on

What. That’s not short at all. Saw the headline and was expecting “Halle Berry short.” She looks younger with longer hair.

skigirl25 on

People—Why do you you even post such stupid stories? There is not much difference!

Maria on

The longer hair definitely suits her better – the shorter hairstyle ages her. But I will say that dress she is wearing is beautiful. Love the color.

Chloe on

Pippa’s hair isn’t that short, but wish Kate would take a cue and cut a couple inches off her hair.

ELC on

Sorry, but she’s no beauty and neither is the hair style. I just don’t get the obsession with Pippie Longstocking. I get people interested in her sister she’ll be a future queen one of these days. However, there is definitely NOTHING SPECIAL about Pippa. She’s no raving beauty…she’s really not pretty at all.

dancer92136 on

Like it longer…

casmia on

Was thinking this would be a drastic cut, but turns out it’s just another useless article used to generate clicks.

Mary on

Uh, excuse me Chloe, but Kate is beautiful and looks great just the way she is. Does not need to cut her hair. Jealous much? You dog!

claire on

she is homely, doesn’t matter about hair. duchess kate of Cambridge has a beauty and spark about her.

Ventress on

That is not short!

um yeah on

uh, when you cut hair, it gets shorter

Smithy on

Oy vey….hardly different. These Middleton girls age quickly.

penny loafer on

She isn’t aging very well.

MarygSeattle on

How is shoulder-length hair considered short?

sal on

wow really makes her look OLD!

Eli on

I can’t believe she’s Kate’s YOUNGER sister. She looks about 46. And her dark eyeliner isn’t doing her close-set, beady eyes any favors.

really on

Short? Headed for a Pixie? Laughable.

Gwen on

Oh Pippa………..not a good look.

mystery of universe on

One of those mysteries of the world is why would anybody be impressed with Pippa’s looks. Beyond me. With so many gorgeous women everywhere. Anyway, she needs long hair. not pretty enough to pull of a pixie

papernpengal on

I can’t help thinking she looks like the older sister… Lovely, but older

karen on

She looks like her Mother!

emma on

You would think with all that money she has she would be able to find someone who know how to cut hair

A on

She looks older now in my opinion.

veronica on

No Biggie

Pixie haircuts are terriblel, ook just like a man.Awful.Stylist just love to cut cut cut.ruining everyone’s hair. Pippa’s ne style not flattering at all.it was much nicer and made her look prettier when It was long. Hope she lets it gro in again.

Teknosbeka on

As with pretty much all women, no she should not get a pixie cut. It is universally unflattering; some women look okay with it but those same women generally still look better with longer hair. Leave it for the boys.

N. Shannon on

I love her hair longer. She seems much older with short
locks. Not as many hair do’s are available as before.

southern comfort on

She does not look 30 yrs old.

Shosho on

She looks older than Kate

CHJ on

I don’t like her in the shorter cut, but that’s my opinion. I don’t care one way or the other. She may be trying to get a different look from her sister, who really has beautiful hair.

jacky on

Get edgy with a shorter look….a choppy pixie look would be hot for Pippa!

Philip lymer on

She would look good with a pixie cut
