Whitney Port Picks Her Fave Wedding Dresses, From the See-Through Gown to a White Eyelet Bikini?!
We bet you already have a few weddings marked down in your calendar this year, and even if you don’t, you can still get excited about all the celebrity weddings on the horizon. Bride-to-be Whitney Port has been busily planning her wedding and now she’s sharing her top dress picks from this year’s Bridal Fashion week. So, of course we had to round up some of her most head-turning — and skin-baring — selections.

“The idea of a beach wedding sounds so beautiful to me, so I loved this one,” the star tells Brides magazine of the two-piece Oscar de la Renta design (first above) featuring a white eyelet bikini and coordinating skirt. “I like that it’s very simple, but still delicate, and not the traditional wedding dress.”
Next up, a sleek Vera Wang gown, which is in line with her own wedding dress vision. “I’ve been toying with the idea of wearing a classic slip dress and this look is just simple and comfortable. You don’t have to worry about anything or the fuss of a big ball gown.” (This would be our pick for the star as well, who told PEOPLE, “I’ve always envisioned that Cindy Crawford beach slip kind of dress.”)
Port, who got engaged to fiancé Tim Rosenman last November, has also considered flashing some undergarments for her trek down the aisle (a look we’re curious if Kim Kardashian will go for.) “Another idea I considered was trying the see-through trend, where you can see the bra and panties underneath. I didn’t know if that was okay for a wedding, but this dress shows you can make the look tasteful,” Port tells the mag of the Houghton design above (We had to pixelate the model’s, er, naughty bits). “Plus, it features a lot of sequins and beading — I’m a sucker for anything metallic or sequined!”
Lastly, Port’s most traditional gown choice comes from designer Naeem Khan’s 2015 collection. “I’ve also been toying with the idea of wearing a veil, and this one makes me feel like I want one. It’s such a beautiful, intricate accessory, especially if you have a very simple dress.”
