Kristen Bell: I Peed in a Jar While Wearing My Oscars Dress

When Jennifer Aniston told us last year that she picked her Oscars gown because it was “easy to pee in,” we thought she was being funny. Little did we know that being trapped in your Oscars dress, unable to properly use a toilet, is a real epidemic — but Kristen Bell set us straight on that account.

While discussing her corseted, mermaid-hem Roberto Cavalli gown on Live With Kelly and Michael, co-host Michael Strahan asked if the dress was comfortable to sit in. “Nope. And I didn’t realize that until I got into it,” she told him. “There was a situation … there was a Mason jar involved.” When the audience giggled, she laughed and said, “Like you guys haven’t peed into a Mason jar before in a huge ball gown!”

And while she did have fun on the big night, she also was more excited than most to see Ellen DeGeneres bring out those pizzas after hours of being unable to eat. “This was my first time going … You have a hair and a makeup person, [so] by the time you get into the dress you realize that you’ve been sitting there for like three hours,” she said. “And then there’s always traffic, so that’s almost four hours. Then you get there and that’s why everyone in the audience looks emaciated, because everyone’s hungry!” Next year, look for Bell to be bringing a Lunchables and a Mason jar in a large shoulder bag.

Can you believe Bell’s confession? Does a girl have to do what a girl has to do or is this never okay with you? Tell us in the comments!

Kristen – TMI. There are some things that are better left kept to yourself. We really didn’t need to know this, dear.

Em, if I ever have met you in person, then you complain you are hungry, I will say “think of Africa.” It’s a normal feeling for all of us to get hungry. so shut up.

I think I’d much prefer her entertaining – if slightly shocking – remarks than to listen to a boring story about the Oscars. Shows she is down-to-earth and even experiences what some might consider hunger or being uncomfortable. When I got married, I waited as long as possible before putting on my dress. I knew a normal “stall” wouldn’t be that easy to manage.

For all who are “convinced that whenever this twit opens her mouth stupid falls out” or “wish Kristen Bell would stop talking”…why are you reading an article about her?!? You could avoid both her and her stupidity if you just place your right hand on your mouse, move the little arrow up to the red box with an “X” and click…and save everyone else your celebrity bashing.

I am completely baffled by the people who comment here. You’re reading a celebrity news magazine! Duh! You then criticize the celebrities for talking. It doesn’t matter what they say, someone will always think they are self-absorbed, too fat, too thin, too shallow, too rich, talking out-of-turn, whatever! It’s a celebrity magazine! It’s not Time, or Newsweek, or Life, or the like. If you don’t want to read what they say, then don’t read it!

Crass and disgusting of her to admit this, have never liked her, WHY is she a celebrity? Pick a dress you can sit in and use the bathroom in, what an IDIOT.

Kristen Bell answered a question that has been on my mind for decades. You never thought the same thing? Besides, she used to be a McGyver type spy. She had a problem and found a way to use basic materials to do the job. Well Done!…
and funny, too!
