Kristen Bell: I Peed in a Jar While Wearing My Oscars Dress

When Jennifer Aniston told us last year that she picked her Oscars gown because it was “easy to pee in,” we thought she was being funny. Little did we know that being trapped in your Oscars dress, unable to properly use a toilet, is a real epidemic — but Kristen Bell set us straight on that account.

While discussing her corseted, mermaid-hem Roberto Cavalli gown on Live With Kelly and Michael, co-host Michael Strahan asked if the dress was comfortable to sit in. “Nope. And I didn’t realize that until I got into it,” she told him. “There was a situation … there was a Mason jar involved.” When the audience giggled, she laughed and said, “Like you guys haven’t peed into a Mason jar before in a huge ball gown!”

And while she did have fun on the big night, she also was more excited than most to see Ellen DeGeneres bring out those pizzas after hours of being unable to eat. “This was my first time going … You have a hair and a makeup person, [so] by the time you get into the dress you realize that you’ve been sitting there for like three hours,” she said. “And then there’s always traffic, so that’s almost four hours. Then you get there and that’s why everyone in the audience looks emaciated, because everyone’s hungry!” Next year, look for Bell to be bringing a Lunchables and a Mason jar in a large shoulder bag.

Can you believe Bell’s confession? Does a girl have to do what a girl has to do or is this never okay with you? Tell us in the comments!

“Dear Kristen, you can go ahead and keep the dress :P. Love, Roberto Cavalli.”

Honestly, I wish Kristen Bell would stop talking. It’s like she sits around trying to dream up ridiculous and outlandish things to say. She is insanely annoying and the overly contrived statements she makes for shock value and attention are pathetic. #growup

Between this and her idiotic comment about being worried that she wouldn’t love her baby as much as her dog, I am convinced that whenever this twit opens her mouth stupid falls out.

Love her! She keeps it real and seems down to earth and fun. I appreciate her honesty in telling it like it is.

The only time I read anything about this ding a ling, is when she is speaking, and something either inappropriate, or just plain stupid comes out. Kristin, try wearing a dress that fits your ample self, and you won’t have issues. Until then, keep it to yourself.

I love it, I love her. She makes me laugh!!!

Should anyone in Hollywood ever udder a word about not being able to eat for a few hours when there are starving people in this country who can’t eat for days? I know it was an innocent remark, but people in Hollywood are so self-absorbed.

Anyone that has tried to use a bathroom in a formal dress I’m sure can relate – especially when you get corseted in. Overshare, but Bethany peed in a bucket on her reality show, so not the first inventive potty break.

Em, have you ever been hungry? It is a basic human feeling, so no need to mock indignation.

Thank you Kat! You said what I was thinking perfectly. Just because the average person experiences normal bouts of hunger and states it, doesn’t make them insensitive. Lighten up, Em.
