Fans may have to wait a year for the release of Fifty Shades of Grey (we know you’ve got your calendar marked for next Feb. 13!), but there have been plenty of teasers to keep everyone excited about what may be the most hotly-anticipated film on the planet. (May we remind you of the first poster featuring Jamie Dornan‘s Christian Grey?) Now, Dakota Jonhson is showing off her sexier side in a new shoot for Elle magazine‘s March issue. And yes, she’s sharing all the details on what it’s like to play Anastasia Steele.

When it comes to filming the super-spicy sex scenes, Johnson has a completely fearless attitude. “I don’t have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame.” And judging by the sexy shots above, she’s totally transitioned into her on-screen alter ego — and has adapted to her rich brunette hue.

But while many people are curious to see how the book’s notoriously racy scenes will translate to film, Johnson’s having fun figuring out what makes Anastasia tick. “Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes,” Johnson says of the characters. “I think there’s a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down.” She adds that Ana and Christian have a chemical attraction that pulls them together. “It allows both of them to do something that they are completely afraid of.”

She looks uncomfortable and definitely trying too hard. There’s nothing sexy about that.

I think people are being really critical of this actress and her being cast in the roll. I might be in the minority, but she’s the reason I AM looking forward to seeing the movie (and I love the director choice). I recall the 1st time I noticed her in The Social Network–in such a small role, opposite Justin Timberlake!! She totally held her own, naked, and was really natural. I think she’s a beautiful choice!

Give this girl a chance will you! She might actually be good in the movie and you all will change your minds. She and Jamie look like they have good chemistry and from the photos of them on the set, they look like they get along great.

I have no interest in 50 and never read the books. A submissive woman sounds a little degrading.

The pictures of her here look so strained and unsexy.

Sorry no sexy there!

I think it will come down to whether she can act or not. I won’t be seeing the movie (the book was enough) but movies are rarely as good as the book.

She looks absolutely great!! Here is the Anna after Christian. The confident Anna that tells the architect to stay away from her husband. The confident Anna that goes against Hyde. She will do great in the role!!

I think she looks pretty….but I won’t be seeing the movie.

my two cents on

She did a great job in the show Ben & Kate –she can do awkward. Give her a chance…I think it was a great casting choice.
