Super Bowl XLVIII might have been a total blowout, but there was another “blowout” that captivated our attention Sunday night: Bruno Mars’s perfect quiff. (Clearly, we tune in to the SB for beauty moments like this and the shirtless dudes.)

The singer’s signature pompadour was in all its well-groomed glory on stage during the halftime show and managed to stay in place despite all of his crazy dance moves. (Seriously, the GIF at left proves it.) Mars teamed his signature pompadour with a custom Saint Laurent suit including a metallic blazer with black lapels. And Twitter loved it all.

HIS HAIR has always been that way but he is a beautiful person, great musician and singer just like Jeanelle Mohne

Love Bruno Mars. His hair is his own signature style. He’s got talent and at least he’s no cussin’ rapper. Great artist and it was fun watching him perform. After his performance, we just turned off the t.v.,,,dissapointed with the game. LOL.

I screamed and cried and danced and jumped with my 4 yeard old grandson who got on the coffee table, moonwalked and did all of of Bruno’s moves and gestures!!! We loved his performance!

A great show by a fabulous ( and adorable) performer! That’s real entertainment and I didn’t have to worry about my kids seeing it. They loved it, too!

They couldn’t have selected anyone more perfect for the halftime show. So glad it wasn’t smutty. Bruno Mars has such class and talent. Really enjoyed it!

I love Bruno!!! He was awesome last night, as was his hair and style. Congrats Bruno….on an excellent performance. Only wished it were longer and those naked guys didn’t join in.

Considering the game was absolutely terrible I loved the half-time! Bruno Mars did great!

Am I the only one that thought his hair resembled Beavis?

quiff? did you mean coif?

he’s had that hair a lot; sometimes he wears a fedora…both are to add height. ;-).

he always gives a great show; loved the splits and the drumming. and he did my fave, Runaway Baby. too bad no Grenade but there was the initial teaser of Billionaire, so appropriate, given that Paul Allen’s team won.

It was just okay. I can’t believe the brouhaha over it. We must be desperate for a decent Super Bowl halftime performance to get this excited over something as just okay as that was.

I will give him credit that it wasn’t cheap and smutty. That was a nice change.

He is a gifted singer and a talented performer but “your sex takes me to paradise” isn’t exactly a family-themed chorus. For all you moms who danced to his melodies alongside your toddlers, I am mystified.

Ehhh, I wasn’t impressed. I’m glad he’s liked, but I’m not digging him.

Love my Peter Hernandez !!
