We’re usually gushing over Miranda Kerr‘s spot-on street style. But besides her amazing wardrobe, the supermodel has something else we covet: perfect bouncy, shiny, sexy (we could keep going) hair. And now she’s giving it the star treatment as the new global brand ambassador for Clear Scalp & Hair.

Stepping into the mane role most recently held by Heidi Klum, Kerr is equally evangelical about the product as her predecessor. We got an inside peek at her new campaign — and let’s just say, judging by the photos, Duchess Catherine may have some tress competition.

And while her hair may always look perfect now, even Kerr’s had some moments she’d like to forget. “I had a perm once when I was a teenager and had straight bangs,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively. “It wasn’t my greatest look, put it that way.”

You’re not likely to see that look make a comeback, especially since her signature style (the sideswept waves, above) is so widely used for hair inspiration. So how does she keep it healthy? Deep treatment masks. “I use them weekly,” Kerry says. “With my work, my hair is continuously being heat-styled, so this is a great way to keep it resilient and healthy.”

Other beauty essentials the multitasking model (she’s also behind the beauty line KORA Organics) always has  hand: “Tweezers (never without them!), KORA Organics lip balm and energizing citrus mist, RMS concealer and mascara.”

And when it comes to her cool-weather travel wardrobe she always has three pieces in rotation. “I love an oversized masculine coat, Hermès classic leather boots and lots of scarves,” she says.

looks like added hair to me (a weave)! So it should be bouncy, shiny, and sexy – duh!

This girl gets on my last nerve. OVEREXPOSED much? Who cares??????

Dumbest article posted to People.com yet.

I don’t mean this in a catty way….but I really don’t see the fascination with this girl. Sure she has a nice body….but her looks are average at best. I just don’t get it.

Somehow, I doubtful that Miranda Kerr uses these drugstore brands. I’m sure that her team of stylists may have some other products up their sleeves. But endorsements pay the bills, right?

All these cosmetic adds are airbrushed. Look at Kate Winslett’ts pictures and then look at her adds for Lancome. So different, they think they are fooling us. Also look at Diane Keaten now and then look at her beauty adds.

She absolutely has extensions.

First off those are extensions. Her real hair is not that long;however, it is well done and very pretty. 2nd – really, she uses a Unilever hair product? Come now.

I don’t know if those are extensions but my niece has hair that looks just like hers and she has no extensions and every time she goes out some girl is always asking her about her “extensions”. Why are women so critical of each other. It is not possible to have beautful long full hair without it being extensions? She is a pretty girl, flawless skin, pretty face. The photos are probalby airbrushed but I doubt she needs a lot of it….she is a young girl with pretty skin and good hair.

I think she’s absolutely gorgeous. However, I think it should be illegal for advertisements to use things like extensions and clip-ins. I know most, if not all, advertisements are augmented in some way, but it still sucks.
