So you just got engaged. Do you A) Text a photo of the ring to a few close friends and family. B) Upload the photo of the ring to Facebook to allow your closest 738 acquaintances to ooh and aah over it. Or C) Casually unveil it on the red carpet at one of the biggest awards shows of the year? If you answered C, well, can we hang out with you more? And are you Emma Roberts? Because that’s just what she did at Sunday’s Golden Globes.

The American Horror Story: Coven actress, who got engaged to her love, actor Evan Peters over the holidays, has been keeping her new pink gold-and-diamond ring mostly under wraps — we’ve had our eyes out, and have only gotten a few blurry glimpses of something vaguely shiny on her left hand. But we can’t say we blame her for wanting to let the ring have a major debut: It’s huge, sparkly and stunning and kinda deserves a big coming-out party set against a gorgeous Lanvin dress and turquoise Neil Lane chandeliers (check her out on our Best Dressed list here!).

We almost missed her new accessory amongst all the other bling (courtesy of Jennifer Meyer) happening on her hands, but upon closer inspection, there was no missing that bauble. It’s simple, classic and chic — we think Roberts and Lauren Conrad may be starting an engagement ring trend that we can totally support. And know who else is on board? Peters himself — at a Golden Globes afterparty, he told us their upcoming nuptials were “very exciting.”

What do you think of Roberts’s ring? Would you want one similar? Tell us below!

Run, Evan, run! She beat you once, she will do it again.

Remind me again of who her fiance is, as any good piece of journalism should do. I saw the domestic abuse story back in the day, but I don’t follow Emma enough to remember. I guess I’ll have to burn calories asking Google.

Wow,she looks like auntie Julia in this picture.

Poor Evan. I hope things have turned around for her and they do well.

She beat him up a few months ago, If RiRi were marrying Chris, everyone would be up in arms. This gets huge positive press because she has a big ring and the MSM has double standards. Obviously like her Dad, this girl has her issues. One miserable year, max.

We always wish these Hollywood marriages well and that certainly goes for Evan and Emma. I just hope she’s taking care of that anger issue problem she has. They’re both very young and when you bring that issue into a marriage it’s No Bueno. Good Luck and God Bless.

It is not “pink gold”, it is “rose gold”…not a new product, it is making a comeback with some people (I personally love it), but it’s been around a long time. Same style as everyone else’s, but ring styles are like clothing; people get a bit stuck on one type, and there is little difference from one ring to another except for size or diamonds on the band or not. It’s pretty, nicely sized diamond for her hand, and good luck to both of them!

She is not ready for marriage, you can see it in her face.
