01/03/2014 at 09:00 AM ET

It’s the Friday morning after what was, for many, a long winter break. So we’re guessing you want to look at something pretty and perhaps not read too many words. Luckily, PEOPLE StyleWatch is in the business of making dreams come true: We’ve got some gorgeous behind-the-scenes photos of Emma Stone shooting her upcoming Revlon ad for your viewing pleasure.

In the star’s second pairing with director John Cameron Mitchell, she dons a pretty bubblegum-pink dress while chasing balloons around the city — balloons that just happen to reflect the finishes of the Revlon ColorBurst lip crayons she’s promoting. “Shiny or matte: Just depends on the day!” the actress says of her beauty philosophy in the video, below.

She also swears off resolutions (as we’ve noted before, she seems to have everything all figured out anyway) and swears by the lip crayon for everyday wear. “It’s a lot of fun,” she says. “It’s really great and it is really easy to use and I enjoy that.”

I’m assuming People has a very lucrative deal with Revlon?
Besides that: I just love Emma Stone.
Although i first thought ‘come on, don’t be an ambassador for make-up, that’s so cheesy and not you”, i’m glad to see she’s still trying to let her personality shine through.

Every time I see her she has a different hair color. Red, brown, blonde….. I wish she would stay with one for a while. It gets confusing

The starlet clone look is a travesty on her.

She’s lovely in every way! Good for you, Emma. You look great and that’s a charming ad campaign!
– From a normal person, not one of those overly critical, whiney, online cynics who has nothing better to do than complain about your hair color (which is great, by the way!) ;)

She looks good, fresh young star.
