Kate Is the Reigning Queen of the Gown Rewear (and Our Personal 'I Really Love My ...' Hero)

She’s already got a tiara and a title, but we’re giving The Duchess of Cambridge another crown and royal designation: The Queen of “I Really Love My.” Yes, she must have multiple closets teeming with gowns and accessories, but Kate has proven she loves to get a lot of wear out of her wardrobe. This week, however, she may have set her own personal rewear record, pulling out a gorgeous gown from her closet for the third time — just days after wearing another of our favorite gowns for the second time on the red carpet.

She followed up her ivory Roland Mouret rewear with a third viewing of a familiar lace Temperley London dress to the Natural History Museum Alive screening in London Wednesday. From her glossy blowout to her polished makeup, you might think you were looking at three of the same photos, save for the subtle tweaks in her choice of accessories.

At yesterday’s screening, she played up the look with jewelry, adding a diamond necklace, drop earrings and a bracelet. In Nov. 2012, Kate added a pop of color to the design with a bright-red clutch for a dinner at her alma mater, the University of St Andrews. And when she first debuted the gown almost two years ago at the War Horse U.K. premiere, she added a black velvet clutch to match the waistband. Like we said, subtle tweaks.

When did the Duchess wear the dress best? What do you think of her red carpet repeat policy? Share your thoughts below.

I wore the same boots 4 days in a row, why am I not on page 6? Hmmmm? 😋

Lovely. Simply stunning.

Jax – I wore the same shoes all week and no one made a fuss

I love that she does this.

@Jax….you made LOL!!! I find it funny that People Magazine comments when someone wears the same article of clothing twice. Who wears something once?

I love this princess more and more each day. She is simply stunning in this dress. So why not wear it again – and again. And again. Relaxed. Confident. Sure of who she is. Keep marching to your own tune, Kate Middleton.

To everyone who seems to have their underwear in a knot, I think the point is that American celebrities often don’t rewear fancy outfits. They’re showing that she is utilizing what she has instead of demanding new things for each event. And it’s a really pretty dress that looks amazing on her so relax.

I love how people question why they think it’s weird for magazines to note this. Sure, it’s not the most interesting piece of news ever, but you’re on the style section of a gossip website. What do you expect?

Yes, it is strange for *celebrities* to be seen wearing something more than once. Maybe this is just indicative of me spending too much time on these sites, but the recycling of outfits just does not normally happen in this arena.

Obviously, you guys are kinda kidding by mentioning you wear the same things all the time yet you aren’t on this website. But you just sound bitter. Of course no one gives an F if we normal folk do stuff like that!

She just basically says to the entire world- I AM NOT ABOVE WEARING A BEAUTIFUL DRESS MORE THAN ONCE.

We should all be less materialistic and snobbish
