First, Lindsay Lohan resurfaces in a photo with Kim Kardashian. Then she starts posting bathing suit selfies. Coincidence? Perhaps. But we’d like to think that the queen of swimsuit selfies gave LiLo a few tips.

Both stars are down in Miami for Art Basel festivities, and Lohan is getting in some R&R on the beach. But as any good social media aficionado knows, you’re not really on vacation until everyone sees it on Instagram, so she took a moment to show off her sexy swimwear: a black monokini with side cutouts. And, of course, she took it at a perfectly artsy and flattering angle. (Seriously, Kim must have had something to do with this.)

Lohan still has court-ordered community service and no driver’s license stemming from a DUI bust earlier this year, but that’s not keeping her from having fun and telling the world. And since she’s not due back in court until after the holidays, we have a feeling we’ll be seeing more social media action from the star. (She’s already got her hashtags down: #swimtime and #ilovethesunshine will do nicely when trying to induce FOMO in your followers.)

What do you think of Lindsay Lohan’s bathing suit selfie? Are swimwear selfies over the top?
