Newly Vegan Beyoncé Doesn't Miss Eating Pizza - She Just Wears It Instead

Beyoncé has only been a vegan for three days, but it looks like she’s already got pizza on the brain. And on her bod. Though she’s posting one photo after another of delicious meat-and-cheese free food on her Instagram, she’s found a way to keep everyone’s favorite food close at all times.

While grabbing a bite to eat for a lunch date with husband Jay Z, the star hit L.A.’s vegan Café Gratitude in a hipster-approved (and truly delicious) pepperoni pizza-themed ensemble by Kiko Mizuhara for Opening Ceremony. The puff-sleeve crop top, a white tee covered in mini pizzas, was the model of pizza restraint when compared to the leggings. Tight, high-waisted and sporting a motif of pepperoni slices against a background of cheese, they were the kind of clothing item that could only be pulled off by a true pizza devotee — no matter that she’s abandoned it for 22 long, cheeseless days and nights.

What do you think of Beyoncé’s hipster look? Are you going to sprint out and buy a pair of pizza pants now, or what?

Clarification — Beyonce’s birthday is September 4th

I love Beyonce. But she is starting to look ill.

Funny, you didn’t mention this Bey-otch also had the gall to wear fur to a natural foods store.

The “new vegan” was wearing a fur coat just a day earlier. She’s not a vegan, new or old, she has apparently changed her eating habits for 22 days, but kept her animal wearing habits, which makes her NOT a vegan, in any way, shape or form.

Really? This is what a fashion icon wears?

This outfit even makes me dislike pizza…

If she is going vegan for 22 days, she shouldn’t wear pearls either. You have to kill the oyster to harvest the pearl.

As a vugan I can tell you that although they may be eating vegan, they are not practicing it. No leather, fur or pearls allowed.

Tacky outfit

She doesn’t have to give up pizza! Great vegan cheeses out there. Lots of pizza places are offering that alternative. At Joe Squared in Baltimore, there are 10 vegan pizzas ranging from mushroom lovers and Greek to flag and margarita.

These two need so much attention, now they are going vegan, I guess there just weren’t getting enough and had to do something to put them back into the spotlight.

A vegan doesn’t wear fur so quit calling her one!

The first two days Beyoncé was vegan, she wore real fur, leather and other animal related items to vegan restaurants. I’m not vegan, but I can’t imagine what it was like for vegans who take their choices seriously to have to sit next to someone so ignorant and self-absorbed – besides the fact that the photographers were obviously called in order to take photos of their ‘spiritual journey’. Thoughtful folks.

I like Beyoncé but sometimes less is more. Not her best pic or outfit. Her hair is awful! And that bow in her hair makes her look like she was a back-up singer for Madonna in the 80’s! She looks ridiculous!

Beyonce can wear whatever she wants just like everyone else in the world. I personally like the outfit because it’s different and FUN.

Attention wh*re.

why only do this diet for 22 days, if your not going to make it a lifestyle change? just get a colonic like all the other celebs and call it a day.

First she drags a dead fox into a vegan restaurant, now pizza? What is the matter with her?
Nice catch about the pearls, Guest!

So does this mean she got rid of all of her furs, leather, etc….and won’t be buying that type of product anymore? She DOES realize, that being Vegan means more than what you do or don’t put in your mouth…..

I wonder if she is going to indoctrin that poor child into veganism. People pitch a fit for parents “indoctring” their children with their religious views, but don’t bat an eyelash for taking a child’s decision in what they eat. We are an animal/meat based society, and humans have canine teeth to prove it. I worked in an early learning center and the children that had veganism pushed upon them by their parents were the most sickly children I have ever seen.

Her next ACT should be “a TWERKING PIZZA” routine!!

Not that Beyoncé is fat, but since when is she THAT skinny? Is that really her?

One step at a time people. And for the alarmist person worried about vegan children, your intelligence needs some attention. All that meat might be clogging the arteries to your brain. ;)

Chloe on

that is the most hideous outfit ever.

Some people take life a little too serious. Lighten up and have a little fun, or at least allow other to!

Cheryl on

I agree with Valerie..see comment..

Yvonne's Girl on

Lighten up, folks. She and her husband have only adopted a vegan diet for several weeks, not for life. Jay is a decade older than her, and starting to carry a little weight in his midsection…maybe this is his way of dropping it. Beyonce has long admitted her love of fried chicken and other decidedly non plant based food and attire, so just take this for what it is: a wife agreeing to support her husband while he attempts a lifestyle change. That said, the outfit, while worn in jest, is ….less than great. Lol!
