Style Rx: Miley Cyrus's Biggie-Tupac Mini is Good for #ThrowbackThursday and Little Else

Who: Miley Cyrus

Where: At the MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam

Diagnosis: Shortage of Throwback Thursday pic options. It appears that Miley has exhausted all possible #tbt pictures and is now forced to come up with fresh fodder for the popular Instagram hashtag by wearing old school photos (in this case, of rappers Biggie and Tupac) across her midsection and rear. (Her Lil Kim Halloween costume, also shown off on Insta, confirms our diagnosis.)

Prognosis and recommended treatment: You might expect our suggested course of action to be to cover up — considering Miley’s mini reveals more skin than many bathing suits. But trying to get Miley to cover up is like trying to get Miley to keep her tongue in her mouth: a losing game.

Therefore, we recommend the following: Since she’s basically naked (and this dress is pretty much beyond repair — did you notice the lace-up front?), just add a wrecking ball or foam finger and call it a day.

If her goal, however, was not to get tongues wagging, bur rather to spread peace (see: “Please Stop Violence” emblazoned across the bottom of the dress), we’d recommend wearing the phrase on a slightly more modest look. You know, like a crop top, paired with leather leggings and platform loafers. Oh, and maybe not trying to disseminate a serious message so soon after Tweeting a “shower selfie.” Just a thought.

Miley Cyrus makes me want to throw up! She is so disgusting. I watch Selena Gomez and Katie Perry being beautiful young ladies as they’ve grown up. They don’t have to put on these types of antics. They have talent! They look and dress the part. Miley could have gone down this same road, but she chose the later and will be a flash in the pan (IMO)!

Uh-Huh on

When will they ever learn — politics and Hollywood don’t mix and just serve to seriously tick us off.

Politics? Really???? When did Tupac and Biggie become politicians?

Really, this shows more than most bathing suits? What beach are you hanging out on? I haven’t seen a bathing suit cover that much in years. The only thing is exposed is her back. Oh noes!

I think she noticed she hadn’t been in the news as much the last couple of days, panicked, then threw on this dress. Oh Miley. Did Daddy not love you enough?

Her “image” is sooooo not believable. It is like she went to the Rhianna factory and came out as Miley 2.0. Her songs are all Rhi Rhi’s and her look…well is straight Rhianna as well. It’s not believable and it has nothing to do with her former Disney days.

Wasn’t miley like 3yrs old when biggie and tupac was around?

Is this supposed to be fashion? Because this is a diss to hip-hop!! Tupac and Biggie should be worn this way or at all! Miley should be ashame of herself! What a friggin’ dumbass!

I am not usually of fan of her outfit choices, but for some reason I kind of like this one!

Now that’s ridiculous. I guess a week without your name in the news is too long, eh?
