Hair transformations are having a moment in Hollywood right now — just today we’ve discussed Camilla Belle’s maybe-bangs and Jennifer Hudson’s pixie cut. So we decided it was a good time to finally address AnnaLynne McCord’s recent switch-up: a rich dark hue for fall.

The actress stepped out Saturday sporting brunette curls (correction: brunette ringlets, which are giving us flashbacks to ’80s prom hair) at the Van Cleef & Arpels party in Santa Ana, Calif.

This isn’t the first time we spotted her with the darker hue (she originally showed it off at the Unlikely Heroes Award Gala), but we’re still getting used to seeing the actress without her familiar blonde tresses.

We’re personally open to the color change, but perhaps she can stick with a chic blowout, as opposed to beauty-pageant ringlets. Granted, that may be the hair change-up fatigue talking (it’s a real thing!).

Are you enjoying AnnaLynne’s trip to the dark side, or do you miss her blonde locks?

personally, i am bored with the same straight hair-do’s and this is refreshing to see. I think she looks pretty. Straight hair has been in style now since the 90s and it looks flat and boring, yawn. So, glad someone is doing the curles now.
