Jennifer Aniston Is Wearing Florals to a Premiere. We're Breathing Into a Paper Bag.

Jennifer Aniston can be called many things (beautiful, funny, successful) but she can rarely be called surprising. This is a woman who remains devoted to her favorite pairs of shoes and chinos after many years; one who won’t change up her hair regardless of the occasion and one whose LBD obsession is so well-documented we’ve practically begged her to wear color.

Well, add “surprising” to that list of adjectives, because the actress just attended the London premiere of We’re the Millers in a ruffly, A-line, tiered, two-tone floral Dior dress and a deep side part. She even added (are you sure you’re ready for this?) slightly colorful eye makeup, cool Casadei pumps and statement earrings. Purple statement earrings!

This is such a major departure for the star that we’re not sure which way is up or down. What’s next: Bright pink lipstick? An asymmetrical yellow wedding dress? Shaving her head? (Hey, it could happen!) It’s too soon to speculate. For the moment, we’ll be pouring a glass of wine to soothe our nerves from this shock — and to toast the star’s new risk-taking style.

Okay, enough silliness. Tell us: What do you think of this bold, surprising look on Aniston?

The shoes are very nice and compliment her pretty legs. The hair as usual, an uncombine, unbecoming mess. The dress would be cute on a 15 year old girl. Aniston can carry prints, but this is not a dress for a 44 year old woman.

Sorry, I don’t like her here. She has a fabulous figure and this makes her look frumpy. While I like your suggestion of color, I do prefer her in sleek dresses that show off her figure, not grandma print dresses that age her.

Who cares what its appropriate for or for which age group. She’s wearing it because she likes it. Good for her! Looks great. People are so critical. Just enjoy life!

She could wear her old ratty chinos on the red carpet & still look amazing–but this dress is great!

Cute dress for the 20 somethings! Adorable!

Why is her face so huge?

I love Jen, but the shoes don’t go with the dress, and the dress doesn’t look good on her. It may have been better if her hair was pulled back? I applaud the effort not to wear black…
