Selma Blair Goes Ombré

Selma Blair, is that you?

The star, who has sported the same super-dark brunette strands for years, appeared to be ready to see if blondes do have more fun — or at least to test the waters.

She was spotted out in L.A. with an allover lighter shade with dip-dyed ends. From her highlighted bangs to her super-light under-layers, the star’s new do was summer-appropriate with just a touch of hipster edge.

Much like Julianne Moore, we’re longtime fans of Blair’s original color, but we can’t argue with the fact that this look suits Blair’s laid-back, beachy style.

Tell us: What do you think of Blair’s new look?

Sorry, but the second picture looks like a transgender guy.

This is a great summer look and I love Blair in her darker hue as well. both looks work on Blair!

I agree with my hairdresser in that I can’t believe people are paying money to look like your color is growing out.

Ummm . . . no

oh my gosh! i hope those are bad extensions because that looks horrible!

Her hair looks pretty fried. Not a fan of this look in general.

whatever I say is gold on

She really needs to dye it back as it looks brassy and horrid. Some brunettes shouldn’t bleach this hair for this very reason. Nice to see I’ve something in common with a celebrity…except I can accept my hair’s limitations.

shes gotta dress for her body type…it makes her look so messy when she’s actually pretty imo…just wear clothes that fit better

I think Sema is beautiful, howver I am not liking this on her at all, at least in this photo. Perhaps if it was an orchestrated photo shoot, it would maybe look okay. In this ‘natural light’ photo, it looks like someone who tried to highlight and colour their own hair with no clue. I see brunette, blonde and red. The red looks like it wasn’t processed correctly and it appears there is a lot of damage from this treatment.

It boggles me to see people who can afford the best hairstylist and best clothes look this way. I sported this very look in the 70s while growing my hair out. Ugh.
