You’ve bought the burgers, booked the beach house and planned your perfect fireworks-watching location — but what are you going to wear? And what sizzling summer jams should you play at your barbeque?

Luckily, N.Y.C.’s talented and lovely DJ Kiss has come to the rescue again, picking three outfits perfect to go from a cookout to a club, as well as 10 songs to get you in a festive, flirty mood.

All you have to do is decide what mood you’re in and then choose one of Kiss’s celeb outfits (“perfect for a laid-back night out on the Jersey Shore!”) to be your guide. From left, Rihanna‘s sparkling Stella McCartney crop top is “huge for Summer 2013,” the DJ says. “Pair yours with boyfriend jeans for a sexy night time look.”

Next, Melanie Fiona’s printed bustier is “a playful option for a night on the town,” she says. “It works great with either a mini skirt or high-waisted pants.” And finally, Bella Heathcote wears a more classic look, but Kiss says it’s great for a party too. “A belted shirtdress is a great way to be comfortable and still look pulled together,” she says. “Pair it with a fab pair of wedges and this look will take you from dinner to the nightclub.”

Then hit play on the YouTube video below and let her 10 handpicked tracks automatically run while you start mixing up the punch. Let the fireworks begin!

Tell us: What will you be listening to this July 4th?

What’s is the attraction with torn jean? It is a major pet peeve of mine – especially with those who can afford otherwise. I hate the look with students but at least I understand that trend a little better.

This is the actually the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Rock the RED WHITE & BLUE. Happy 4th!

nina on

Those are the dumbest outfits for the 4th I’ve ever seen. Lol, sorry.

AKM on

It’s the 4th of July not a fashion show. Dress for fun and comfort. (and if it’s red, white and blue, all the better)

Pam on

What do any of these outfits have to do with the 4th of July? I agree this is dumb. I’ll be wearing red, white, and blue. Also the soundtrack has nothing patriotic on it.

Pam on

*playlist not soundtrack lol.

Amber on

Every single one of these outfits is atrocious. And beyond ridiculous for the 4th!!

What’s even worse about the play list is some of the artists are not even American: Avicii is Swedish, Empire of the Sun are from Australia , Icona Pop are also Swedish, and Estelle is English. People you really dropped the ball on this whole article. Question, did an American even write this article?
