At a time when half of Hollywood seems to be lightening up for summer, Anne Hathaway goes against the trend, taking her just-dyed blonde hair back to brunette.

After stunning Met Gala onlookers with a Debbie Harry-inspired, bright blonde crop in honor of the night’s punk theme, Hathaway stuck with her bold new hue for three weeks, trying out new formal and casual looks to complement her attention-getting color.

But whether she wasn’t into the upkeep, had to dye it back for a role or just decided blondes don’t, in fact, have more fun, the star stepped out in Brooklyn Tuesday with her hair dyed back to its original chocolate hue.

Tell us: Will you miss Hathaway’s blonde hair, or do you love her brunette?

According to my friends who’ve had to work with her, she is the biggest self righteous loser so it doesn’t matter WHAT hair is on her head

Where did she get those glasses?

Hard on the hair.

I hate her short hair. It looks so bad no matter what color it is.

Heidi on

She still looks like Liza Minelli and is incredibly socially awkward.

If she keeps this up her hair is going to fall out. So unhealthy to constantly dye your hair. Every so often is ok… but as much as celebs do it… well, no wonder so many of them are into hair extensions and wigs!

The make-up that goes with the blond mop does not hide the bruise on her left cheek as well as the thicker make-up that goes with being closer to Adams favorite brunnet.
