Jennifer Aniston's Stripper Body: 'She Worked Incredibly Hard'

First, watch the trailer for We’re the Millers. Next, marvel at the sight of America’s sweetheart playing a stripper named Rose. Finally, ask yourself the same question you’ve been asking for years: How does she stay so fit?

Well, not without a lot of hard work, as our series with Jennifer Aniston’s yogi instructor Mandy Ingber makes clear.

And Aniston’s We’re the Millers director Rawson Marshall Thurber concurs. “I don’t think she ever worried about it. She got in great shape and worked incredibly hard for that sequence and it shows,” he says. “I think people are going to watch it with their jaw on the ground.”

But even though the star gets down to her skivvies to get her faux family out of a tight squeeze, Thurber promises we’re not looking at Aniston’s Elizabeth Berkley in Showgirls moment. “I would say on this side of Showgirls, the striptease falls in between Flashdance and a Carl’s Jr. commercial,” he says. “It’s handled with a wink and a smile.”

So how does Aniston get (well, stay) in such amazing, striptease-worthy shape? Lots of yoga with Ingber. In fact, Aniston credits Ingber for helping her finally love her legs. “I’ve always been in shape but I could never get rid of that little saddle bag and it was miraculous how it sort of melted away,” she says.

Ingber says that their three-day-a-week yoga practice helps keep the star’s body sculpted, from a holistic approach to fitness to healthy, organic eating. “Who doesn’t want longer legs?! She is very feminine, yet toned,” Ingber tells PEOPLE. “Athletic and slim.” And she recommends a move from her book to get similarly killer legs, which combines yoga’s Temple Pose with plié squats, finishing with 10 pulses at the bottom of the plié.

So with all that hard work, you can expect to be blown away by Aniston’s sexy, warm performance in We’re the Millers, according to Thurber. “Practice makes perfect and her strip is close to perfect. She gives a knock out performance,” he says.

Looks fun. I wish she’d do more serious roles tho. Although, I heard she tries doing that in a movie coming out next year, I think. Not too sure. But yeah, I wish I have enough discipline to get a body like that!

Elsa caceres on

it is sad when one person like her has to work on her body and depend on her looks
she has been in the business too long for not to have the respect
she is funny…not the best actress but she is descent
she should demand more respect and try out for more meaty roles
she will never be Meryl Streep or Diane Keaton,,,but she can be better!

I just love her ! One of the most beautiful women.
Most girls do not look like her in their 20s, not to mention 40s.

I am team Jolie hahaha!!

I think it’s time for Jennifer to stop obsessing about her looks. Playing a stripper at 44 is just sad. Maybe she should try working on her acting and play some different roles.
