Keira Knightley's Wedding Dress: What Will She Wear?

Here comes the bride, all dressed in custom Chanel!

That’s something not many brides hear on their wedding day (Drew Barrymore excluded), but we’re betting that Keira Knightley‘s going to be in a just-for-her Karl Lagerfeld creation for her wedding to James Righton, rumored to be this weekend.

Though details on the event are very hush-hush (all we know is that Knightley and Righton reunited at the Nice, France airport, and the ceremony is reportedly at or near her French country home), it’s a fairly safe bet that Knightley will be in Chanel. She’s long worn the design house’s ethereal attire, been the face of the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance and even played the role of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in a Lagerfeld-directed short.

So even though we suspect the fashionable star will have had a hand in the design, we couldn’t help but pick three ivory numbers from Lagerfeld’s latest couture show for Chanel. Each dress has elements that remind us of Knightley’s style (from showing off her elegant shoulders to the feminine, romantic details) — but we think the perfect dress for her would be a mix of all three looks.

But since we aren’t being consulted, we’ll ask you: Which of these three Chanel dresses is best for Knightley’s big day?

Are there any other options then those?

Lilley on

oooo the second one!!!!!

Guest2 on

Umm…none of the above? Yikes!

Lana on

Those are all ATROCIOUS!

Lisa on

She is beautiful no matter what she wears, but I would vote for either 1st or 2nd one from the left….she would look great in either.

ok peeps on

The 2nd one is quite pretty. I think the main problem in picking is we’re seeing stuff straight off the runway with truly odd makeup. Look at them w/o the heads.

Suzanne on

These dresses must be jokes, right? However, I think the make-up is awesome for a wedding, no? That would be sarcasm

Katarina on

The white regency ball gown she wore to the Netherfield Ball in Pride & Prejudice, but if I had to choose from the above I would choose dress 2. I just love that movie! I think I’ll go watch it.

Sarafina on

The makeup on these models is dreadful–like they’ve been crying and the mascara has run. I bet Keira’s wedding dress will look like NONE of these.

Tiffany on

NONE of the above!

What are these designers thinking? None of these are wedding material. Two of them are see through.

Steph on

Uhh…..I can see through the third one, so that’s the clear choice, right? NOT!

Cat on

They are all ghastly!

DanaH on

Let us hope she wears NONE of these dresses! (Dress #2 isn’t bad from the waist up, though…)

Why do all the models look like they’ve stepped off the set of Beetlejuice?? Weddings gowns are supposed to be on someone happy. I think there is a much nicer gown out there for Kiera. I like what she is wearing in the picture. She is a beautiful girl.

Zahra on

None…WTH is that? You would think with all the money she has, she would get a decent wedding dress. Three of them are Halloween customs, the first is a sundress.

costateofmind on

These look better suited for Helena Bonham Carter

Girlguest on

Those dresses are not very attractive at all….are there better choices?

Mary on

I don’t like any of them.

teknosbeka on

I rate these dresses: yuck, ugh, and blech!

Calire on

Umm none?

GG on

If she is getting a custom made dress, I would think she wouldn’t be wearing any of these dress. So this article is pointless. But I do love the thought of Keira in Chanel. Always a win.

susan on

They are all atrocious.

fit4ufor3rd on

oh wow, im hoping there is one more he saved in the back for her and these are the prank dresses.

Stac on

Once again this rag is asking the PUBLIC to make a personal decision about what dress this bride should wear. Apparently the bride is not allowed to choose for herself.

Kyle-Marie on

All 3 choices are HORRIBLE!!!! I hope those aren’t her only choices!!!! YIKES!

stiph on

All three are atrocious. They don’t look like wedding gowns at all and the makeup should go too.

Jenna on

ewwwe, none of them

Jenna on

ewwwe, none of the above

Cheryl on

NONE of them!!!!! Are you kidding about these dresses?

Brooke on

The first one!

Awwwshucks on

I can’t decide without knowing if the ‘black eyes’ in the photos are accessories, bling or an overlooked thing.

Rain on

all of those options are atrocious!

wowmom on

She should wear the wedding dress she wore in “Love Actually”. Simple but unique.

KellyL on

They are all ghastly. Frightening.

beth on

Hopefully, none of them. I think that they are all horrid.

Emma on

Considering she said they were having a very low-key event, I doubt she’ll be worrying about Chanel gowns.

Lea Rae on

Yuck! None of these, that’s for sure! Whatever happened to classical elegance?

whatever on

I hope that is a joke….

Xandra on

Try none of the above.

Russell on

How lucky she is to have found a man who is satisfied, marrying someone with the body of a twelve year old boy!!! Wow!

Life goes on on

I bet she will wear neither of them.

linda707 on

if these are couture, someone’s goofing someone.

Debbie on

Yes, she would stunning in all. However, the 2nd one would be perfect!!! Wooh hooh, go Keira. Congrats!!!

Sandy Rubenfeld on

i think the first dress is nice

Sandy Rubenfeld on

i like the first dress

Hands down! The third dress. No doubt about it. A perfect look for Miss Knightly.
I would choose that one in a heart beat.
