This Week's Best Dressed Star: Jamie-Lynn Sigler (And She's Pregnant!)

Most pregnant girls dread black tie affairs. For starters, they can’t hit up the open bar. Plus, “formal” and “maternity wear” weren’t really meant to live in the same sentence.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler, however, isn’t most expectant moms. The star, who’s having a son with fiance Cutter Dykstra, looked absolutely stunning in this sequined Pamella Roland design, complete with sheer sleeves and a plunging neckline.

Sidebar: Once we ate a bagel with cream cheese before heading to a friend’s wedding and our “bagel bump” was bigger than the actress’s baby bump.

The dress, which she wore to the “What a Pair!” benefit concert in Santa Monica, Calif., earned over 30,000 votes of approval as of close of polls Friday afternoon, enough to beat out all of the other stars who hit the red carpet this past week.

Amy Poehler, also in a sparkly black number, came in second place with nearly 30,000 votes. (We attribute your enthusiasm for this look to her new pink streaks.)

Gwyneth Paltrow took the third spot in a chic white dress with a black waistband at the Iron Man 3 photo call in Munich, Germany.

See the rest of the stars who made the 10 Most Loved Looks of the Week list (including Gwyneth in another black-and-white look).

Do you think Sigler looks as fantastic as everyone else does? If not, who do you think deserved the top spot this week?

I do not enjoy the writing of this contributor…not remotely funny or “cute.” The recent articles written in this mannerism are defenitly a deterrent to continuing reading People articles.

I think everyone should give it a rest! She looks great! Pregnant or not. After being called skinny all of my life, I hate that word and anything associated with it. I was born into a a thin family. I was athletic and am not a big eater. SO WHAT!! Did I ever walk up to someone overweight and ask them if they were OK because they look so overweight?? NO!!

I totally agree with the other comments about this message in this article being degrading to women. Yes, Jamie-Lynn looks great and happy and I’m thrilled for her.
But, why compare her pregnant belly to a non-pregnant woman’s bagel-filled belly? What??? People magazine-PLEASE, don’t continue contributing to female body issues. It’s hard enough as it is to not feel like a whale compared to all the female images in the media, but to say this pregnant woman looks better than most of us after we eat a bagel? What does that imply? We’re pigs for eating the bagel. Please encourage more self-love, not self-loathing.

Looks like your average pregnant woman to me.

I thought the joke was funny and not at all demeaning. I joke all the time about my “food” babies. Relax readers and stop taking everything so seriously.

I am currently at a clinic for Eating Disorder treatment, and this headline (about a pregnant woman looking like she only ate a bagel) I find very insensitive

The fact that people are arguing over a comment made on a “best-dressed” article from People Magazine is almost as ridiculous as the actual comment itself.

Seriously, People Magazine needs to lay off the size references. She looks like a pregnant woman & she does look lovely but she had a lot more money than the average pregnant woman so she was able to buy a $$$ gown, have her hair & makeup done. I don’t befruge her – I wish her well. I also wish this magazine would quit glorying these celebrity women as being teeny tiny even though they’re ready to give birth & how they manage to lose the all the baby weight in a day or whatever & how awesome their high dollar baby showers were or how they manage to work & have babies (so many have nannies and/or work only a portion if the year & might even never have to work again due to the size if their bank accounts). People Magazine acts like celebrities are the only ones capable of having children & how well they do it as if we should take a page from them. Start featuring women from all walks of life doing the same thing, being pregnant without the benefit of a ton of money & how awesome they are, regardless!
