Exclusive Deal: The Tool That Gives You Amazing Hair

02/13/2013 at 06:00 AM ET

Some people would do anything to have the gift of flight, others want X-ray vision, but the superpower we’d most love to possess is the ability to give ourselves a perfect blowout — like the one Allison Williams rocked at the Grammys this weekend. Well, we’re happy to report that our wish has just been granted … in the form of a new Sarah Potempa tool, the Ceramic Styling Iron.

Yes, it’s as easy to use as it looks. (Take it from someone who is so inept at styling her own hair that a friend once signed her up for an hour-and-a-half long course focused solely on how to hold and use a blowdryer. And let’s just say, she didn’t exactly pass the class with flying colors.)

One of the coolest parts about this styling iron is that it works on hair in any state so you can go to sleep with wet strands, wake up with major bed head, run the tool through and look like you just walked out of the salon. You can also use the styler to freshen up a few-days-old pro blowout. And since the pink attachments slide off, it also doubles as a basic flat iron. (A flat iron that, by the way, heats up in less than 17 seconds.)

The ceramic iron with the styling attachments and prep comb normally retails for $225 (still way less than a year of weekly or biweekly blowouts), but Joyus nabbed a special price of $199. And we scored you an extra 10% off orders $50 or more and free shipping (enter PEOPLE10 at checkout) … because we believe everyone deserves the superpower of amazing hair.

And speaking of getting amazing hair, make sure you add the Sarah Potempa Beachwaver and Wrap-Up to your arsenal (both available at an exclusive price!).

The karmin g3 is pretty good too, either for curling or straightening and leaves hair soft & shiny!

looks nice, for now my favorite flat iron is the karmin g3, it’s really good, keeps my hair soft , frizz less and very straight. :D

Good lord that is a lot of money for a flat iron.

That’s not a lot for a styling product, who are you people kidding? especially for something that is good, lasts and is a double product

Megan, for single mothers who can hardly afford to pay for their kids’ football uniform and shoes after paying all their bills, that’s way too much for any hair product. Actually, for the majority of people, regardless of being a single parent or not, it’s too much. I can buy a flat iron for $175 less than this one and do my hair just as easy and just as well. Just sayin. :)

I don’t see why you couldn’t just do that with a regular flat iron.

Why do people get so judgy about expensive hair tools? Let’s not judge the people who buy inexpensive ones or the people who buy expensive ones.
