We all know Tabatha Coffey, Bravo’s sharp-tongued Aussie style pro, from her stint on Shear Genius and her latest hit, Tabatha Takes Over. And now, she’s bringing her talents online, joining us at PEOPLE StyleWatch once weekly to dish on some of the best – and worst – celebrity looks of the week. Keep in mind the opinions below belong solely to the stylist … though she’s probably saying what lots of you are thinking, anyway!

Today, she takes on Katharine McPhee, who selected a printed high-low dress for an NBC TCA panel in Pasadena, Calif.:

Oh Kat McPhee, you’ve got to be kidding me! What is going on with this outfit?!

At first glance I thought your dress was a chintzy camo print and I immediately was like, “Oh cam-no!,” but now that I look more closely I’m thinking it could be leopard. Actually it doesn’t really matter because it just isn’t working for me. And neither is that length. I think this high-low mullet trend needs to take a break — a very, very long break. Speaking of length, Kat, it looks like you forgot your pants.

Now, what’s with the high tops? Are you going to the gym after your appearance? Were you actually wearing heels and one broke seconds before you stepped onto the red carpet? Let’s just pretend you did and call it a day.

I know, I know, I’m being a bit hard on you, but I’m not saying anything your best friend wouldn’t. Take my critique and run with it. And while you’re sprinting in those black high tops, stop into the nearest salon and get a blow out. Your hair is looking a bit lifeless. Oh, and one more thing … I actually like your lipstick.

Katharine looks great in anything! she went with comfort–nothing wrong with that!

I think Katharine “Koo” as some fans call her looked great as always. She looked very pretty. She could wear a potato sack and still look hot! Also great to see her wearing lipstick more lately.

styleprdiva on all.levels- comfort is one thing but just looking bad bad bad is another. The entire look doesn’t mesh- her hair to that dress (?) to my god girl those shoes. Honestly a potato sack would have been bettered served.

So, all though Catharine’s face is flawless as usual…she looks like she feel asleep before she finished either getting dressed or undressed then the fire alarm went off… She jumped up and put the first shoes on she could find and ran out of her house!

Tabatha, you are spot on… if a stylist picked the outfit, shoes and hair, they must be blind. If she is responsible, she needs major help!……

I think a heel would have made this work.

Desiree your on here…making comments..It’s not news..It’s style watch. get with it. oh and I don’t get this outfit. It’s all wrong. I think she was trying to steal the effortless lazy look like Kristen Stewart..which I actually like when she throws in a pair of sneakers. but C.M just does not or hire your stylist.
