Anne Hathaway Will Be Keeping Her Pixie Cut

Anne Hathaway didn’t have a choice about chopping her shoulder-length hair and adopting a super-short crop: her role in Les Misérables called for the severe ‘do. But don’t expect the actress to start growing out her hair just because the film has wrapped.

“I love the short-haired lifestyle,” Hathaway says in the December issue of Vogue. “I’m turning 30, and — I hope this isn’t obnoxious to say — I feel prettier, and much more myself. I guess I just feel much more satisfied with less now.”

Something else the actress felt beautiful in? Her custom ivory-and-pink Valentino wedding dress. Hathaway ended up loving the gown, but says that during the start of the design process, she and Valentino weren’t seeing eye-to-eye. “I begged him during the first fitting to make the train detachable. He looked at me and said, ‘But it is a dress, not a costume.'”

Hathaway ended up taking the designer’s advice — and is glad she did. “He somehow read my mind and designed the dress that I’d always wanted,” she shares. Non-detachable train and all.

She should grow it back. The pixie isn’t a good look on her.

I love the short hair!

I love short hair! I have a pixie myself. Ginnifer Goodwin had one but is now growing it out. I find that most famous ladies sport one for a while and then grow it out. Except Halle Berry. It’s refreshing to see ladies with shorter tresses. Good for you, Anne! It looks fabulous on you.

I love how free she is. She just doesn’t care, if people find her attractive or not. I love how she barely wears make up, no hair extensions, and she doesn’t tan. It’s weird to see this in Hollywood! She’s not a sex symbol, and that’s okay! If people want eye candy go see: Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Amber Heard, etc.

I forgot to add, Happy Birthday Anne!

I don’t think her facial features are dainty enough for a pixie cut but hey, she’s the one that has to look at herself the most and actually deal with her hair so it’s up to her.

Actually she should grow out of the charlatan she married he’s a regular Jimmy Jones. Read her stories about him carefully they change with time and the telling.

She look fabulous in that pixie cut. Very gamine. Very Audrey Hepburn. Keep it, Anne!!

She’s beautiful and can pull it off. I don’t blame her for keeping it short neither.

I love the short pixie cut on Anne- she rocks this look really well and it sets her apart from all the other actresses!
