As it’s been said, in fashion, one day you are in, and the next day, you’re out — and these days, Katie Holmes is most definitely “in.”

The designer — who recently announced she’ll be showing her line, Holmes & Yang, at New York Fashion Week this fall — has enjoyed some stylish success in the weeks since she filed for divorce from Tom Cruise.

According to FoxNews.com, Barneys stores in New York City and Los Angeles reported that Holmes’s line “has been selling particularly well” since her split (highlights available online include an $845 blouse and an $1,100 dress). And a Dallas Barneys representative “noted that while they don’t sell the line, they are now getting queries about it from enthusiastic shoppers,” Fox adds.

“This is a dream publicity opportunity for the label,” stylist David Zyla tells the site. “The retail customer will pay the collection special notice, not only due to the styling but as art created by a role model who they respect for handling what would have been such a messy situation with such ease and poise.”

Since its inception, the line — co-designed by Holmes’s stylist, Jeanne Yang (pictured above) — has seen an increased presence in Hollywood, too; recently, Heidi Klum (an admitted fan) and Jennifer Lawrence have worn pieces from the label, as has Holmes herself. Tell us: Are you interested in seeing more from Holmes & Yang?

i never cared for anything to do with Katie Holmes, but i’m so happy to find out that she has left that weirdo Tom Cruise and his creepy cult. And now that i know she has and that shes a Catholic, i’m really happy for her, and i will look forward to supporting her company. (this is coming from someone whos not even religious too! i just HATE cults, and i think its great shes has God to protect her now :)
