Miranda Kerr has been giving PEOPLE StyleWatch editors a serious case of fashion envy. The supermodel looks ah-maz-ing not just on the runway, but off duty, too! She’s mastered the art of looking chic, edgy and effortless — all at the same time. To prove our point, we’ve broken down how Kerr transforms an outfit from ordinary to pretty much perfect:

Denim shorts & shirt: No matter how hard we try we just never look this cool (left). Is it how she rocks mixed prints via her top and Balenciaga heels? Or is it her $825 Alexander Wang bucket bag that takes the look over the top? Whatever the reason, this is how we wish we look at Sunday brunch.

Maxi dress: Though maxis are a dime a dozen this summer, Kerr’s (second) is a standout. The seafoam color is gorgeous and her signature cateye shades are ultra glam, while her funky orange-and-pink Hermès bag keeps the ensemble young and fresh.

Floral pants: Proving the key to wearing prints is sticking with neutrals, the mom lets her Céline printed pants (third) shine by choosing nude pointy-toe pumps, a cranberry Louis Vuitton bag and a simple gray top.

Ladylike dress: Hello, Jackie O version 2012! The Victoria’s Secret model updates a classic ladies-who-lunch look in a fruit-punch red $429 A.L.C. silk dress (love that keyhole neckline!), her go-to printed Balenciaga platforms and a $564 nude studded Alexander Wang bag.

Thankfully summer is far from over, so that gives us more than enough time to try and recreate these looks. Tell us: Which of Kerr’s outfits is your favorite? Do you like her style?

seriously, why doesn’t any blog try to find out who made it?? they keep calling it the hot mint green maxi, i would have thought someone would have tracked it down by now.

We would like to thank you again for the gorgeous ideas you gave Jeremy when preparing a post-graduate research in addition to, most importantly, regarding providing the many ideas in a blog post. Provided we had been aware of your site a year ago, we’d have been saved the nonessential measures we were implementing. Thank you very much.
