Why Orlando Bloom Makes Miranda Kerr Nervous

Miranda Kerr

It’s hard to believe Miranda Kerr ever gave birth — because her body shows absolutely no sign of it on the cover (below) of Harper’s Bazaar UK‘s August issue.

“I didn’t feel pressure to snap back into shape,” the supermodel tells the glossy. “My priority was just having my son and breastfeeding, which was something I really wanted to do, and it came easily.”

Although she didn’t feel pushed to get fit, she certainly is in better shape than ever. “I do these exercises in the morning, they’re called chakra exercises,” she says in a behind-the-scenes video. “They’re a series of twists … It only takes about 10 minutes. It’s a great way to get your waistline back after having a baby!”

Photographer Giampaolo Sgura shot the equestrian-themed spread at Mike Tyson’s former estate in New Jersey, with the Victoria’s Secret model striking poses in blazers and corsets by Azzedine Alaïa and Hermès (among others).

Kerr also admits that while she loves her doting hubby, Orlando Bloom, she’s not thrilled that he attends her fashion shows. “I never really want Orlando to be there [in the audience of a show] because it makes me nervous,” she explains. “But last year, he was like, ‘You have no choice, I’m coming’. And the one time he was attending the show, my shoe decided to fall off.”

The full interview is in the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK, on sale Monday, July 2 (and  also available as digital edition).

I completely feel for Miranda because I have the same problem. As a professional belly dancer, I love the stage; I love the dancing; I love it all, and I hardly ever get any kind of nerves… unless my husband is in the audience. Knowing that my hubby is out there watching, totally gets the butterflies going. :)

I kind of wanted to hate this girl LOL but I saw her on Ellen and she’s charming, very down to earth and a doting young mum. She’s lovely.

I’d love to know what happened to the dog Orlando Bloom brought back from Morocco, a stray he supposedly adopted and named Siddah. Since he met this model who has a small dog, we have NEVER seen Siddah again. Did she make him give up the dog he has rescued ? Does anyone know the answer please, I worry about that poor dog. Thanks

your significant other making you nervous in certain situations is normal. Joanne Woodward admitted years later that she was nerous doing her pole dancing scenes in the 1963 movie the stripper because her husband Paul Newman was watching and had final power of approval over those scenes. modeling isn’t much different than that

La Vie en Rose- I don’t think you need to worry. People posted a picture of Orlando, his son Flynn, and Sidi, going for a hike as recently as April 6. Google it.

La Vie en Rose – Look in the Pet section of People for the article “Orlando Bloom Joined at the Hip with His Dog” dated Wednesday September 14, 2011. He has had the dog for seven years and the article is less than a year old. I would not worry about such things.

My daughter is like that with me. When she was 4 she used to say “Don’t watch me mommy” right before dance recitals and when she’s at bat in softball she tells me to pretend I’m not watching. I once told her she had stage-fright, and she corrected me and said “No, just in front of you. Just you make me nervous– everyone else doesn’t.” LOL!

I used to dance and when my boyfriend was in the audience, same thing. BTW, I should probably be upset that Miranda stole Orlando from me, but I guess I should be happy for them :)

She looks almost exactly like my OB/GYN in the face. It’s so weird.

“and it came easily” she says. BLAH. She totally sounds like she’s bragging. How about throwing in a “luckily” before the statement? That way you sympathize with the fact that it doesn’t come easily for everyone and that you truly aren’t a superwoman? Arrogance like this is why celebs can get SO annoying! Kinda like Gisele and her “painless” tub birth. I’m sure we will have to hear about the next one too. Give me a break!!
