Kristen Stewart made big beauty news when she was named the face of Balenciaga’s newest fragrance, Florabotanica, and now fans can finally get a look at the gorgeous ad campaign.

During an interview with WWD, Stewart admitted she was unsure about how she should pose for the photos. “When I first stood there, I was like, ‘OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?’ And they were like, ‘Just be comfortable.'”

Along with approving of the futuristic floral ad (shot by famed photographer Steven Meisel), she’s also 100 percent happy with the fragrance.

“There is something natural about it,” the On The Road actress explained. “It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it — considering that I’ve never worn a scent — it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.'”

The star also admitted that she was rather nervous to initially smell it. “I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with [Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière],”she revealed. “And I’m a terrible liar.”

Florabotanica features notes of vetiver, amber and caladium-leaf accord, a (hybrid) rose, carnation and mint accord and is set to be released in September. Tell us: What do you think of the ad?

She seems a little out of place in the ad, at least with the pose she has. It’s like they just superimposed an image of her in a floral background.

C’mon people – let’s be real. She only “stuns” because she looks like a ghoul here. A corpse. A dead woman. If she is such a good actress, then ACT sexy and alluring and fierce like the brand she’s representing!

Would someone PLEASE find a way to make this girl have a facial expression. Jeez, smiling doesn’t hurt, I swear… Just try it..

Can’t say I like the ad at all. Nothing to do with KS, the ad is just too cluttered. It’s hard to know where to look and I wouldn’t think that the seller would like the fact that the last place your eye is drawn to is the actual picture of the product. They pay good advertising dollars to emphasize the product the celeb is promoting.
