Today is a big day here at we’re launching our brand new Red Carpet Spotlight, dedicated to the most glamorous Hollywood events and packed with photos and dressing details of your favorite stars!

As part of our chic coverage, we’re going to be reporting on the latest red carpet trends — which are on the up and sizzling, and which are fading and fizzling. So what’s hot (and not) this week?

Up: Bold-colored pumps. Emily Blunt worked this look perfectly at a Five Year Engagement premiere this week, setting off the green in her dress with her bright Alice + Olivia shoes.

Down: Choker necklaces. It’s nothing personal, Rihanna, it’s just that chunky statement necklaces are taking the place of solid, choker-style accessories.

Up: Menswear-inspired fashions. Lily Collins gets this one right, making a suit sexy with tailored pants, a ruffled blouse and perfect accessories.

Viny on

Healthy, adult dogs can hold back their pees and poos some time. The idea is to teach the dog its toilet is ourodots, not in the house. That can be problematic with that adult dog that has learned to do inside and there are all those old stinks in the house. You can’t just tell a dog his toilet is here and basta. The dog is conditioned to pee/poo ourodots if he is ourodots every time when he has that urge. Then he learns to hold back. Dogs usually don’t want to dirt their home either.
