Victoria Beckham 'Screamed' When She Saw Beyoncé in Her Dress

Victoria Beckham has clothed mega-watt stars like Michelle Williams and Eva Longoria in recent months. But seeing Beyoncé step out in one of her creations last week really put her over the edge.

“I was very excited when I saw it online,” Beckham told Extra last Tuesday at the ASCAP Latin Music Awards in Beverly Hills. “I screamed, and said, ‘Look, David, look!’ She was one hot mama, for sure.”

Though Beckham admitted she still gets “so excited” when she sees stars in her dresses, that Beyoncé moment seemed to top them all. “It was big for me,” the designer said. “She’s incredible, and also an artist that I have so much respect for. I’m a huge, huge Beyoncé fan.”

Beckham, whose namesake clothing line is drawing more attention and critical acclaim as time goes on, said she’s proud of herself — and of her team. “I’m really, really overwhelmed with how well everything’s gone,” she shared. “And I just want to make women feel good about themselves. I want to empower women, make them feel happy and confident and as long as women are out there buying the dresses, I’m going to carry on doing what I feel really truly blessed to do. I’m the luckiest girl in the world, I really am.”

Yes, she really is; as dashing husband David stood dutifully by her side during her Extra interview, all he could do was smile at — and compliment — his wife. “She always looks good,” he said, being sure to note her self-designed strapless black gown, too. “It’s an amazing dress, it looks amazing on her.”

I Love Beyonce, but I’m sorry this dress looks too little and tight!! It does nothing for her figure and you can see her shapewear!!! I’m not hating because we have the same body type and after having two kids back to back it’s hard to lose the weight. Anyways, I think she should have worn a pair of LV or something besides those chunky wedges. Sorry Beyonce, but this is not a good look for you!!

What am I missing? The dress is nice, but very basic and ordinary.

I LOVE VB’s line- so gorgeous, feminine, extremely sexy without being revealing at all. Unfortunately, It’d take me about a solid month’s pay to afford one. Wish she’d come out with a diffusion line for all us little people!

I’m sorry, but that dress looks dowdy and frumpy. If Bey had some sleek heels on, and the dress would hit just an inch below the knee it would be kickin’, but that’s not flattering at all.

I saw that dress at T.J. Max for $19.99 Seriously? There is nothing extraordinary about the dress. It is very unattractive.

What’s the fuss about the dress? It looks like any other dress out there. Mrs. Beckham doesn’t impress me as a dress designer. Another example of how people will pay big bucks for something based solely on the name behind it. Really sad.
