Victoria Beckham 'Screamed' When She Saw Beyoncé in Her Dress

Victoria Beckham has clothed mega-watt stars like Michelle Williams and Eva Longoria in recent months. But seeing Beyoncé step out in one of her creations last week really put her over the edge.

“I was very excited when I saw it online,” Beckham told Extra last Tuesday at the ASCAP Latin Music Awards in Beverly Hills. “I screamed, and said, ‘Look, David, look!’ She was one hot mama, for sure.”

Though Beckham admitted she still gets “so excited” when she sees stars in her dresses, that Beyoncé moment seemed to top them all. “It was big for me,” the designer said. “She’s incredible, and also an artist that I have so much respect for. I’m a huge, huge Beyoncé fan.”

Beckham, whose namesake clothing line is drawing more attention and critical acclaim as time goes on, said she’s proud of herself — and of her team. “I’m really, really overwhelmed with how well everything’s gone,” she shared. “And I just want to make women feel good about themselves. I want to empower women, make them feel happy and confident and as long as women are out there buying the dresses, I’m going to carry on doing what I feel really truly blessed to do. I’m the luckiest girl in the world, I really am.”

Yes, she really is; as dashing husband David stood dutifully by her side during her Extra interview, all he could do was smile at — and compliment — his wife. “She always looks good,” he said, being sure to note her self-designed strapless black gown, too. “It’s an amazing dress, it looks amazing on her.”

Beyonce looks matronly there, and what uncomfortable shoes! When she sings it sounds as if it HURTS. Her voice conveys such strain strain strain.

Is she going to wear blue all the time now, forever? Or at least until her second child, Fuchsia, is born?

victoria beckham……………..ugh

I don’t especially like this dress mostly due to the 3/4 sleeves and the awkward length and it doesn’t have anything at all that makes it pop. It doesn’t seem to fit B properly, either. Victoria always looks amazing, though, I’m sure she has better pieces.

I love Beyoncé, and I think Beckham has skinny-girl style, but this dress and accessories do nothing to accentuate anything other than a great post-baby waste-line, and it could have been SO much more!. Style up the shoes, as everyone is saying, but also shorten the necklaces and shorten that hem!!! Why on earth would she cut off her legs at the widest part of her calves? Seriously! Cut it just above the knee and rethink the necklaces. And maybe do something about those too-tight Walmart-looking sleeves. Maybe Beyoncé tried it on with fuller hair. That might have made a difference. JMHO.

I bet if she eats a sandwich she would smile more.

I don’t know, it looks like a simple dress to me. I’ve seen stuff like this in Target.

The dress needs to be hemmed to at or above the kneww IMHO.

Victoria is such a family-woman, beautiful, hard-worker, funny and down-to-Earth. All the best to her and her beautiful family. Really.

I like the dress. It has a classic, sleek look that never goes out of style. I think a lot of the problem is the picture’s angle. And the shoes. Not a fan of the shoes.
