What’s the cost of beauty?

For Jennifer Aniston, it’s a whole lot less than you may have heard.

The Wanderlust star tells PEOPLE she can only laugh about reports sweeping the Internet that she runs up an $8,000-a-month tab for her beauty regimen.

“Although I am a sucker for an amazing moisturizer, love a great facial, have been using the same cleansing bar since I was a teenager and have always been a dedicated tooth-brusher, reports that I am spending eight thousand a month on a beauty regime are greatly exaggerated,” she says.

So what’s the true total? “By my tally,” she shares, “this month I’m in for about two hundred bucks.” Tell us: How much do you spend on beauty products each month?

I’ve also thought she looks like a mix of Steven Cojocaru and Fabio!

If she even spends a cent on her “beauty” she really needs a refund. Her chin and nose belong on a man.

Wow, she needs 8000 a month to stay looking good, no wonder Brad Pitt left her!!!

She’s adorable and awesome. I love that she is so honest and real. She’s such an inspiration to other women, too. I feel like I can so relate to her, even though she is this huge celebrity. I can’t say that about anyone else.

Um, yeah, I call BS. Her haircut alone costs more than $200. Not to mention highlights. The services of hair and makeup people for every public appearance. So, whatever, Jennifer. It’s right up there with the celebs who claim they don’t diet or work out and are underweight.

Do people seriously think that Jen picked up the phone and called People to set the record straight? Most of the time is the magazine that calls not the other way around. People is obviously having a slow news day. This isn’t the first time rumors like this surfaced. It beyond ridiculous to think she or anyone is spending this kind of money in one MONTH.

It beyond ridiculous to think she or anyone is spending this kind of money in one MONTH, for beauty purposes. Maybe when she gets ready for a red carpet she will spend more than usual.

So what if she spends that much money on herself? It’s hers to spend as she sees fit isn’t it? She worked her ass off for it.

I spend about $200-300 a month depending if my hair gets colored in the month…that alone is $125 or so. I have used Lancome moisturizers my entire life. I save to buy them. I get a facial maybe once a year. I want to get that brush cleaner from Nordies for my face. Can’t remember the name of it right now. She is very beautiful for having spent a lot of time in the sun. I wonder if she has had sun spots removed? Just wondering because at almost 46 mine are coming out.

Who cares how much she spends. It’s her money, she earned it. She’s not like the government who forces you to pay taxes and then spends YOUR money on THEIR fancy homes, fancy cars, boats, etc. No one’s forced to watch a movie she’s in if they don’t want to.
