“Conflict-free” would seem to mean the opposite Brenda. Conflict diamonds are what you are describing. Conflict-free are ones that ostensibly do not come from war-zones and are not mined with forced labor. I think it’s all pretty gray though. If you didn’t see it coming out of the ground there is still a decent chance that you got a conflict diamond that was laundered through a “legitimate” source (as they were trying to do in blood diamond).

WHY do they have to use the word ‘sparkler’ for *every* *single* *article* about an engagement ring??? Get a thesaurus People!!

I wish we had a better (bigger) picture of her ring. Good for her using conflict free diamonds! I wish more people could/would do that!

Wow, People Magazine…way to remove my comment that was not offensive in any way. Awesome.

congrats to them, I didn’t like her a few minutes last year but she redeemed herself

Maybe I should be from Missouri, but until the couple themselves say they are married, even though they are wearing “wedding rings”, you cannot be absolutely positive.

Pretty rings though.

For those who asked. Conflict Diamonds or blood-diamonds are mined in countries that used the proceeds from the sale of those diamonds to fund a war, usually a civil war or genocide. Conflict-free of course would mean they were not.

For others, Natalie is very eco-friendly and does not have 4 houses or a private jet. She’s probably doing as much or more than the people who are complaining about her are doing to help the planet.

She looks incredible. He needs to grow his hair out a wee bit.
