Jennifer Hudson Isn't Used to Dressing Skinny

Jennifer Hudson‘s drastic weight loss may no longer be breaking news, but the fashion plate says she’s constantly surprised by her slimmer figure.

“I just love fashion now,” she told Stylelist at the New York celebration for her recent Good Housekeeping cover on Tuesday. “It’s so much more flexible, and there are so many more options out there now. I feel like my own little Barbie doll — I get to dress myself up.” And with the lighter footprint also comes fancier footwork: “I hated heels before, but that’s all I wear now.”

And though everything looks good on her (just check out the three outfits she wore over the course of two days, above), her style philosophy is rather complex. “Because it’s a new body, I’m trying to find out, how do I want to be perceived?” she laments. “Who is this new me? I knew how to be the big girl, but now I have to find out how to be this girl.”

I honestly think she would look healthy with a little more weight on her, some people don’t look right when they lose so much weight. I am all for health and fitness, and she should be proud of herself for getting healthy.

Yawn. Tired of hearing about her weight loss.

Enough already! You lost weight – good for you but it is really old news now. We get it.

I have nothing against Jen, but these articles are so old and boring now. Okay she lost weight, but is that all she can talk about?? I think it makes it worse – it makes her weight all that defines her. When you’re fat, you get teased and bullied, and when you’re skinny, it becomes all you’re known for so what does that say? Your weight is still following you around, Jen. Stop talking about it. Talk about your music, your movies, your projects. Stop talking about the weight or you’ll always just be the used to be talented singer who lost weight. That’s it.

C’mon ladies, I never heard so many negative words. Shame on all of you. Jealousy is a horrible thing. Be happy for one another.

Can she shut up already ????

Her head is starting to look like a bobble doll. I think she has become obsessed with her weight and all her Weight Watcher’s commercials are over-exposing her. The images of her weight loss are beginning to have an anorexic feel. Is this the image Weight Watchers wants? I now change the channel when these commercials come on (which are several times a day and evening) Enough already!!!

Funny that she can’t seem to stop talking about it because when she was on Oprah she refused to talk about how much she lost. She just seems like a total skinny Diva.

Shame on all of you who are talking smack! Women need to stop slamming each other and celebrate our successes. Jennifer isn’t any different than anyone who has spent years as a plus size only to find how many more options are available in misses sizing. That’s a big deal and I commend People for running this.
